Remember when I said I'd finish Part 2 Wednesday or Thursday? Well, I finished it today on Tuesday lmao.

This book is fucking crazy man and it's making me depressed D:

Part 2 is cruising by. Some really great heartfelt moments and disgusting wtf moments as well. Should be done Part 2 Thursday or Friday. I read a hell of a lot today.

Mordred makes me uncomfortable. Can't wait for it to get worse lmaoo

Done with Part I. Was overall pretty great. Definitely don’t see why it couldn’t have been part of Song of Susannah - in fact, there’s pretty easy splits to have made this climax to SoS exist and make SoS a fitting 19 Stanzas too! Missed opportunity imo, but whatever. I’m still enjoying myself lol

Nearing the end of Part I. Really enjoying this conclusion to what Song of Susannah built. So far, I don't see so far why this couldn't have been the climax of Song of Susannah though...but whatever, I'm enjoying myself.

Forgot to update yesterday. So far this first part (Chapter 1-2) has been a really cool climax to Song of Susannah. Looking forward to see how it continues.

Volume III complete.

Volume III complete.

Coming near the end of Volume III now. Only 5 chapters left. Heavily enjoying this part. Pretty much at the same level as all of Volume II, which I loved.

Plowing my way through Volume III. It seems like there's some important set-up happening for Volume IV, though of course I don't know for sure. We shall see.

Read nearly half of Volume III, Part III today. Mixing the war (the effects of it) with the normal character interactions in a really nice way. Probably my favorite part of Volume III so far.

Done with Stanza 12, nice to actually see some of Jake and Callahan for the first time I think so the first few stanzas. Really curious how the hell King plans to wrap up the main thread of this book since there's only 1 stanza remaining, and especially how he plans to then flow that into the final entry.

Finished Stanza 11...I can definitely see the problem that some people would have with this but that shit was honestly pretty fucking cool. It definitely wasn't out of nowhere the way people made it out to be either, was definitely leading up to this from all the way back in Part 2 of Wolves of the Calla, to give context without spoilers.

Through Stanza...9 I think was the one I read over yesterday and today. Haven't read in several days - haven't wanted to, alongside every other obligation I've had since recovering from Covid D:

Anticipating some mega weird shit in the next couple stanzas. Can't tell if I'm excited or not lmao

Read Stanzas 7 and 8. Pretty intense stuff. Also...the meta's boutta come out bigtime, ain't it?

Finished Volume III, Part II - after 4 entire days of no reading. Gonna put the rest of Volume III [ D: ] on pause for now - priority is to finish Song of Susannah since my original schedule was to have it finished today.

War stuff definitely taking a major front seat in a way that I'm enjoying more than previous war sections, but I'm cruising through Vol. III, Part II right now. Hope to be done this weekend, done with Vol. III mid-next week.

VERY light progress tonight. I hope to smash a few dozen pages tomorrow when I actually have the time to do it. Hope to be finish Volume III alongside finishing Song of Susannah, sometime within the week.

Stanzas 2 through 4 done.

2 was great. Fantastic full transition from the simultaneous relation/build-up continued from WotC.

3 was a little unexpected but there's a lot of good stuff there.

4 got real what the fuck real quick lmao (at least, wtf in a different way than the series has really delved into before. I expect madness in future stanzas)

Stanza 1 done. Set-up coming off of Wolves is pretty nice so far. Looking forward to seeing how weird this gets.

Taking a lot longer on Volume III so far than I anticipated, which doesn't bode well for some future reading plans, but I'm not worried about it.

Still as enjoyable as ever overall.

Volume III, Part I done. I love how this thing frequently devolves into character drama.

Part 3 is popping off! Having such a good time with this. So excited for these two chapters and the ultimately finale.

Just finished Part 2. Definitely a little bit long in the tooth, could've been slightly condensed, but I'm generally happy with the callbacks and...I guess you'd call it lore? Tons of info being dropped, but I'm excited to get into the final act.

Just over halfway through the book. These tales in part 2 have been maybe a little bit slow, but not anything I'm upset about. Still thoroughly enjoying the book :D

I'm right up at the point of all the tales about to be told at Part 2, Chapter 3. I've surprisingly enjoyed everything up to this point quite a bit! I definitely wasn't expecting it since this entry in DT seems pretty mixed compared to the previous entries. If it keeps up on the current quality though, I'm still gonna end up loving it.
