Chapter 1 down.

Took a bit to get into because of such a starkly different setting than appears in prior stories, but I had the same problem in the first couple chapters of Howling Dark, so I’m not worried. Looking forward to see how this very short entry goes.

The back half of this book has so many...visceral scenes that I wasn't expecting after a surprisingly tame first-half.

Still loving the hell out of it.

Tons of scenes that were adapted in some sense to iconic scenes in the film in this back half of the book. It's been pretty awesome.

Book 2 was amazing. Clicking with this one a bit more immediately than Iliad. We'll see how this goes moving forward.
