Well, Chapter 23 was certainly a chapter. That was actually really visceral. Do I...do I sympathize with Nynaeve now? Wha-

One of the quickest and smoothest reads I've experienced in a hot second (even more so than some of the YA/Middle Grade nostalgia books I just did in April). Plus this thing being shorter than Carrie by Stephen King is a huge plus in the midst of the all the gigantic fantasy books I've been reading LMAO

Book good (again).

God after just reading a buttload of WoT, some of things this book talked about took me off guard. It's definitely a bit more explicit than WoT is LMAO

Love how much this book feels like a Book 3 despite being a Book 2. So interested how this book has 250 pages left (in my Paperback) and then there’s still the ACTUAL book 3.

LOVING this thing so far. Honestly. Chapter 8 especially was very good. Can’t wait to continue.

Prologue was good. Very encouraging to not be totally lost with it too 🙌🏻

Reading progress on everything has essentially died the last few days. Final Fantasy 16 came out so I have, of course, been binging the absolute hell out of that, much to the chagrin of the videos and thumbnails I desperately need to make.

Continuing to build up splendidly

This book definitely has some scenes that feel relatively close to “book 3 of a trilogy” type of material, which makes me wonder how the hell the rest of this is going to go and especially how book 3 itself will go.

Hm. I’m gonna have some thoughts on this book when I’m finished. Methinks my video review is gonna be a long one haha

Forgot to update yesterday. Met a character yesterday that I think is an immediate favorite haha

Lots of good stuff read today. I suspect this book will not be one to suffer in any notable way with middle-book-syndrome, and that’s amazing.

Chapter 3 was VERY good. Look forward to see how all of this starts to comes together over time.

Chapter 52 (Little Talks) is such a fucking amazing chapter. Hits so different on the re-read and in a totally different way than some other stuff has.

Ch. 52 was more poignantly beautiful, while everything else has been more beautifully poignant.

WAT.

That’s not good. Some actual SHIT (both actions and conversations) happened in a couple of these POVs that are really changing things in ways I wasn’t expecting and are actually worrying lol

Finally can say I got a BIG chunk. I love how the subject matter is so dry but it's never boring. Surprisingly engaging. Looking forward to the next "act" of the story though as it is undoubtedly coming pretty close to that.
