King Crusoe > Recent Status Updates

Basic halfway through Part 2 already. Very great stuff, most particularly in Levin’s story on the farm but also in the relationship of Anna Karenina and her husband.

Great writing here.

Second to last Perrin chapter; a lot packed into this one, most great, a little meh.

Part One complete. Book good. I hope to be at least through Part Two by the end of the month/year. Let’s see how well I manage lol

Holy shiiiiiiit. 134 pages today. That might be a record since my Les Mis binging in Nov. 2022.

So book. So very book indeed.

Things are starting to come to a head, so that’s exciting! Still 75 pages left tho 🤣

Read a huge chunk today. Still massively enjoying my time with it.

I love how subtly Tolstoy includes some fairly deep philosophical musings within the lite-drama of the characters so far. Quite masterful.

Technically started this last week - audio only for this one, for while I shovel snow and whatnot - but I was not paying attention and this thing starts fairly confusingly, so I restarted today.

Got a decent chunk done. Some fun ideas in it tho.

I think I really like this book :D

Through Chapter 4 now. Going pretty solid if I do say so myself.

Not QUITE where I wanna be, but I'm caught up enough. Continuing to really enjoy my time with this. Everything scene with Seren especially has been *chef's kiss*.

Started on a whim basically. Immersive read for this one. 1 chapter down, and most everything is clicking better than The Road, but it's very likely it's the audio doing the heavy lifting.

Only 2 parts remaining.

Part 3 now done. I'm not gonna lie, there's some really great balance and attention done with most of the thematic underlayers. They're frankly the most fascinated part of the book.

Frickin love this book tbh.
