*stomps foot* I don't wanna read this. This is me, right now, thinking about having to read this.

Oh, holy shit - those dreams are painted with vivid detail and OMG terrifying scenes of fear and pain.

AOM read. Haven't had used one of the shorts to complete the challenge in over a month, so cashing in here on a new-to-me author.

Reading under protest...damnit. I hate how much of a completionist I can be for these damn challenges.

Soooo close to being done with the books in the Members Choice Challenge. 2 BDSM titles I was trying to space out due to soft limits and a Renae Kaye (new-to-me). In order to read that SPECTR 2 book I need to finish nearly ALL the SPECTR series first (the 1st one was good so I guess I don't mind) but then...ugh, worst for last? A Jackass Jory short story, 2 Kindle Alexander books and that TJ Klune one.

OMG this has gone on longer than it needs to. Once the "mystery" has been solved there needs to be a pretty quick wrap-up...

God, please tell me this gets better. At times like this I'm not sure how some of these books win/place Members Choice awards. *sigh* Must. Persevere. Challenge. Almost. Complete.

Oh, it may be the unicorn blood he drank that's allowing him to walk in sunlight. That's better than it being the result of drinking faerie blood. It's one thing to homage another idea, but I prefer it when an author humorously lampshades tropes like that. (And after the LOL Twilight comment, I know BE can do that.)

Hmmmm...a vampire that gains the ability to walk in sunlight after drinking from the blood of a faerie? Really? I didn't see anyone named Sookie in this story - but it sure smells like True Blood to me.

I love how consistent both Griffin & Whyborne are, always referring to the other as their husband.

The alternating PsOV is a little bit distracting; I'm used to nearly everything being in Whyborne's voice.

Dude, they went through Colorado on side roads? JFC that must have taken forever.

(Although, yeah, I can see why they'd want to avoid all those tunnels on the interstate...even if they are my absolute favorite thing about I-70 . God, do I love the Eisenhower Tunnel and the whole Glenwood Canyon area.)

OMG. How much do I love that they found some semblance of humanity - truly nice & generous, caring people - on the Loneliest Road in America? The symbolism of that knocks the breath out of me.

(Plus, I've been on that stretch of the 50 through northern Nevada and let me tell you: it is aptly named.)

Okay, wait. So, Adam - the guy I'm mentally picturing as Derek - is also a werewolf? What. The. Hell?! *side eye* Was this an AU Sterek fic that got morphed into an original fic? Because that would explain so much.

Okay, I know I've read more than a couple Sterek Teen Wolf fanfictions in the past few days...but seriously? Now I'm picturing people in completely different books as Derek and Stiles. I think I have a problem.

The more I read, the more I feel that maybe this book belongs in a bigger 'verse than the "#0.5" prequel tag is letting on?

Crap, I hate when that happens; I get that maybe it's a new direction/focus for the story arc but if a new title fits somewhere in the body of another series published it would REALLY behoove a writer to give it a 2nd series number to tie it in & not frustrate the ever living fuck out of me.

Gawdamn, the sex in these books is always so ridiculously hot. Dirty & yet still emotional (even when the MC doesn't want it to be).

Damn, it feels like it took forEVER to finally get to this one (so I can mark one more book off the Members Choice Challenge list). But, I can't say I haven't enjoyed the ride; these are some of the most engaging stories I've ever listened to.

This one was really detailed, interesting and I honestly wouldn't mind more stories in this 'verse either.

OMG. That ending.

Oh, I did not expect that. I really thought...well, that they'd come to their senses.

So, now would be a good time for the Endicotts to yank their heads out of their asses by showing up to help save the day, damnit.
