I'll take a stab at even the worst rated Holiday books/stories (see Holiday shelf)...but I do not watch Hallmark Christmas movies. Never have.

But honestly, I'd totally watch this one, were it real:

I feel like I was dropped into the middle of an ongoing story...

Gah! These letters are killing me.

Every time I try to start reading this one again I just cringe because I don't want to skip this scene...I have a feeling it's where things change between the characters. But it's just SO AWKWARD.

I am absolute shite at coming up with team name suggestions for challenges so I went to a name generator for some help...

It's on Hoopla...so yeah, I needed an audio book. Well, another one since I'm almost done with the 4th Christmas Angel and wanted to start another one!

As much as I hate the damned thing I THINK that next time I'm on vacay I'm going to use the stupid GR app to keep track of what I read...because going through the Kindle app "homepage" I've discovered a bunch of books I finished and didn't mark or review.

I should check my Hoopla history, too and make sure I didn't forget to mark some of those (audio & ebooks) as done...

Usually I listen to an audio book when I go shopping as I like to multitask and oddly enough it helps me concentrate enough to find the best deals and compare prices.

Unfortunately, I forgot my earbuds when I went to the grocery store this morning and was "treated" to the Christmas Date Rape Song.

Twice.

Fun times.

Also forgot to use my coupons trying to get the hell out of there.

My notes and highlights from the previous book never showed up here to share...so, just in case I think I might do updates here if there's anything I really wanna point out.

STILL shipping John/Peter. Only, having read a couple of Daddy Kink books recently has me considering that dynamic, especially given how John completely handled Peter in this chapter!

I might have obsessively refreshed the browser until LH uploaded the newest portion. It's just so good, so angsty.

OMG don't you hate it when you didn't record/update GR with a book you read?

I am 99% sure I read an MMF w/a Country music duo (who pined for each other) & the FMC's hometown ex (who's now a music investor?) but CAN NOT remember the name of it. AND I didn't even shelve it under "musicians" when I put it on the TBR originally, so I can't find it.

Does this sound familiar?

You know, only Lisa Henry can write a Peter that I not only empathize with, or just tolerate...but absolutely love. Even when he's not terribly lovable.

Damn, the feelz in this kick you in the metaphorical nuts. I love how real, how raw the anger, isolation and frustration are portrayed. Brave thing to write that characters can be mad as hell at people for dying.

I don't know how many of you guys are in So/No Cal and having to evacuate due to the fires there...but stay safe!
