JFC, Brice just needs his ass kicked...or for Sonny to grow some balls and counter his name-calling and disrespect of Doxies with something like, "Right, and YOU will be the one sucking their dicks and begging them to come for you, working to please them, just to stay alive, asshole."

I should probably wait on these last two as all the books in the Bound Gods series fit so many of the Pushing Boundaries Challenge categories...but yeah, no I can't wait 'til July.

I need a "Spiritual/Religious" book for the Romance Readers Quarterly Challenge...since this one has "Religion" as a main-page genre, well, I'm counting it.

I have no idea where this story-arc is heading. Well played, Ms. Wilder. Well played.

Never fails...every single time I start an audiobook narrated by Seth Clayton I get this warm, tingly feeling. His voice is just so smooth, and it always sounds like he's speaking with a smile (or at least a smirk) on his face.

Hmmm...usually Barbara's stories really interest me, but it appears I started this a while back and haven't bothered to pick it up again in a few weeks. Putting it back for now...

Okay, this one I'm starting over but won't put back on the TBR because it's a challenge book that I need to finish before September...and I'm likely to forget it if I don't leave it open.

JFC, how many books have I abandoned and left to rot on the "Currently Reading" shelf? Putting this one back to re-start as well!

I need to pay better attention to what I have currently pending and, oh, I don't know, actually finish them? Gotta start this one over, too.

This is pissing me right the fuck off. I need to put it down for a while...

I call bullshit on Park not being able to run as a business-friendly Democrat. Nancy Pelosi & Diane Feinstein have HUGE business and special interest donors & look at how they both voted to gut the law enacted after the Big Banks screwed the whole country (world?) over in 2008.

Wall Street's money has more influence than the voices of the common man. (And that started in the 1880's not with Citizen's United.)

Okay, so Park seems like a sort of pre-Reagan Republican...which, yeah, considering his lamentations about where things have gone off the rails & wanting them to go back to the party roots...okay, I can understand. Sort of.

But still...he & Jackson were together, openly, for 8 YEARS only 5 yrs previously? I don't even see how it's possible to cover that up successfully, or how he thinks it won't come out.

Should have known.

An already rich businessman changing party affiliations to run as a Republican because regulations & legislation were keeping him from making even MORE money.

(Although I do have to agree with his sentiment that it's now "Party Loyalty over real solutions for real problems" which is a problem on BOTH sides of the aisle or the DNC wouldn't be itching to change the rules on who can run as a Dem.)
