Is It Possible to Remove Books from a Listopia List

It's supposed to be for books by Women Only.

Could someone please remove the following from this list
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...
They are not on the list from the college board
The Princess bride
Les Miserables
Guards! Guards!
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
Sirens of Titan
Count of Monte Cristo
Rebecca
Watership Down
Where the Red Fern Grows
Of Mice and Men
Welcome to the Monkey House

it was requested that there be no graphic novels/manga.

On p. 21 (linked to) #1952 is Gone Girl: by Gillian Flynn -- Review
by Expert Book Reviews. This author is nongendered.

I thought you meant that Gillian Flynn was non-gendered and got confused. Then I figured it out :)

I removed it from my list. I removed it from another list that I helped maintain. I added it and two others of the author's books to an appropriate list Unknown books on more than 60 Goodreads Lists. I reported the author to goodreads.
Any other thoughts on what to do? In the past when I've reported these kind of things, I've had pretty much nothing happen. Most people don't create listopia lists with an eye to avoiding inappropriate postings.

List: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/5...
Books:
Friend of the Devil (#37)
Scorn of Angels (The Descended, #2) (#38)
Thank you :)

Could someone remove
"Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck from the following list
101 Great Books for College Bound Readers
It is not on the static list from the College board

I have a list I've created and I need to remove some books that don't fit the description. When I go to edit it, there's a message that I have librarian status, but I don't see the remove books link.
I'm kinda confused, so any answers would be much appreciated!

So what I see when I edit a list has Title, Description and Tags below that message. And then [Save Changes].
But below that are links for
check for duplicates : https :// www.goodreads.com / list / check_for_duplicates / .
remove particular books : https :// www.goodreads.com / list / edit_list_books / .

Thanks to both of you. I think Mitchell is right, because I see the check for duplicates, but not the remove books option.

Deleting books that aren't miscategorized can "result in a loss of librarian privileges, and possible deletion of account".

Someone correctly commented under the list that The Road isn't actually on the poster. *On* The Road is included, and Cormac McCarthy is included too with Blood Meridian, but The Road isn't one of the 100 on that poster.
Thanks!

I removed it. You can consider asking to have it made static, like the ones here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

These are definitely not cozy mysteries.
Thanks

Lists are a community resource and do not belong to the individual who creates them which is why lists aren't supposed to be personal ones.
And the below is on the page when you are creating a list.
"Lists are public and everyone can vote on them, so don't create "Michael's Favorite Robot Books"—instead create "Best Robot Books" and seed it with your favorite books about robots."

I'm quite familiar with that description - that's not the same as just out and out DELETING an existing list because you don't like what it says - and what it says is that it was created as a personal list.

The book has been added twice

Thanks, Ayshe!

Captive Angel by Virginia Aird was added, and I finally got around to reading it... there is a bit of suspense, but there are no emotional scenes like what I have listed in my description. Since it falls 12th on a list of 37 (right now) - it feels alot like false advertising -- I myself have stopped using certain lists after it has steered me wrong. Thank you!!!

Could you please delete the following 12 books from the list Amazon's 100 Best Science Fiction & Fantasy Books?
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/9...
They're not on the original list, found here at Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/100-Science-Fi...
Divergent
Insurgent
Catching Fire
Mockingjay
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone x2*
*The original list contains HP and the Sorcerer's Stone. The Goodreads list contains HP and the Sorcerer's Stone and TWO versions of HP and the Philosopher's Stone (currently at #27 and #74 on the list) even though all three are the same book!
It may be driving me slightly mad.
Thanks,
Octavia.

That was a long sentence!! Thanks for your help.

The author isn't a marginalised author.
Many thanks!

according to that book he probably should listed with complete second name https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Can these 2 books be combined into 1? I think they are the same.

One is listed under the author's real name and 1 under his pen name.
Thanks for looking at it.

(and that's not a thread for that sort of question as you can read even out of the subject)
edit: merged it (and several other added short stories) into one of the collections they are in - couldn't find any evidence these were published on their own so they shouldn't be in the database

Please can you remove the books from this list:
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7...?
Cara's Twelve
Hereditary
Paper Princess
Broken Prince
Twisted Palace
Falling for Sakura: A Secret Kiss ( author confirmed ending was monogamous or MF)
Nero
Elite
Elect
When I Moan
When I Hurt
When I Love
The Fallen Crest Series
Logan Kade
Fallen Crest Public
Fallen Crest Alternative Version
Fallen Crest University
Fallen Crest High
Fallen Crest Christmas
Trial by Moon
Wrong
Demons at Deadnight
Drop Dead Demons
Demons in Disguise
Interview with a Hex Boy
Dark Demon Knights
Midnight Poison
None of these romances have polyandrous endings ( or happy afters) which is the main criteria for this listopia.
Other readers, authors or my own reading has confirmed these books do not fit.
Thanks for your help! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for ages. Even after joining this group , I haven't been able to access the remove books option even though I'm the list creator. Sorry that the list to remove is a bit long.

It isn't specified on the List description exactly what is the criteria used for a short story. So I'm not inclined to remove it...."
Wikipedia calls it novella and it has "Novels" as genre (2 users marked it), I removed it.
