Is It Possible to Remove Books from a Listopia List

Hi There. This is my second time on goodreads, and I recently looked at a list I made, the first time I was here, for witchy picture-books. I see that in the interim, many books have been added that are not picture-books. Although they feature witches, they are longer works of fiction, and are not picture-books, or even picture-book adjacent. Is it possible to remove them? The books in question are lovely, and multiple people have voted for them, but I created the list as a resource for picture-books, not longer novels. I'd like to add more picture-books, but would also like the original nature of the list to be restored.

I would suggest drawing more attention in the description to the fact that this is a picture-books-only list and perhaps list specific criteria to be followed.

Thank you!!! I really appreciate it. I looked into 'Dragons Giants and Witches' more, and it should stay. I'm not familiar with it, saw the page count, and assumed it was a story collection. When I look at worldcat however, I see that it was originally three separate books. Mea culpa!

Hi all, I have a quick question and thought it would be better to post it here. Let me know if I'm wrong and I'll make a new topic.

I noticed that some books on lists have negative voter values, like "-1 people voted". When I click on it, a notification window pops up and says "All of the users who voted for this book have removed their votes. This book will be deleted from this list soon.", but they are never removed. I check some of these lists often and those books are always there. My question is, as a librarian should I remove such books or should I leave them alone?

If more than two days have passed without anyone's request being addressed in the thread, you are welcome to "bump" it by commenting in the thread. Otherwise please be patient due to the high volume of requests. This thread has now been bumped and someone will probably work on it soon.

it is easier for librarians to help if there is a link to the book/series/author/ list in question.

You are in the Goodreads Librarian Group, which is not the same as having Goodreads Librarian status. Your profile will show if you are a librarian.

You will get much quicker response to your requests if you give all necessary information. Links and ISBNs/ASINs are important.

The title translates as "Best sci-fi books published in Turkish". It looks like there are 86 books in this list but from #65 onward, each book is numbered as #66 and they all have negative voter values.

Edit: I think you deleted one book because now there are multiple #65s.

I didn't delete anything, but sometimes there are "ties" and books will have the same number. I don't know if it is a glitch or if it is a tie.
Since the system says "this book will be deleted soon" I would go ahead and delete the books from the list.
