Just curious if I should create a new post about this? Or if this post is the best place to put it?Also how long does it normally take for a librarian to see the request and remove the books?
Thanks Rivka. I actually deleted my previous post because the people who put most of the votes on took them off after I asked them to.However, there is still one book on the list that should be removed....

Highly variable, depending on the specific topic/issue. Some things many librarians are comfortable doing; those often get responses in minutes to hours. Some (like Listopias) are more specialized, and then it depends on the schedules of the librarians skilled/comfortable with those issues.

In this case NOT having that ability has saved you from an error. The book at 201 is My Cousin Rachel not Rebecca. Not removed.

Several books have been added which don't belong there and were obviously author (or author sock) spam:

This is a non-fiction book added by the author himself and voted high seemingly by author fans and the author himself
- Rough Canvas
Unrealistic Glitterkink, precisely what should NOT be on this list!
- Vanilla-Free Christmas
Unrealistic (FSoG-style) BDSM added by a group of people supporting each others' choices (I suppose author socks)
- Frisky Business
Unrealistic (FSoG-style) BDSM added by a group of people supporting each others' choices (I suppose author socks)
- If It Fornicates
Tortureporn hiding away as consensual BDSM, precisely NOT what this list is supposed to be about
What galls is that these books get well represented on the other BDSM and erotica lists, so have no lack of exposure, while the very few books this list is made for get shoved sideways by them.

Hello, I created a list of Asexuals In Fiction. It was for only confirmed asexual characters. As the maker of the list researched all the books I added to make sure the orientation was accurately represented. Someone has added Thief of Souls by Neal Shusterman, while it might be a good book. I've found very little evidence that it has an asexual in it, and the evidence I did find hinting towards it was literally alien and could be highly offensive to the community. Hi Tiffany, are you sure it doesn't fit? The person who voted for it added a note: "Micheal states that he is asexual." But I can't really tell because I looked at it on Google books and the word "asexual" doesn't appear there.In any case, I can take it off if you want. Btw, I also have a list for asexuality, but mine's for YA fiction and I'm not so stringent on the requirements. Basically anything that has a whiff of asexuality to it, since there isn't much out there.

Yeah, that's not the proper definition of asexuality that's for sure, and the word is never used in the book. The Michael character expresses upset that his sexual desire was invaded by an evil succubus and then taken away? I dunno but it really doesn't seem like it belongs on your list of confirmed ace characters, so I removed it for you.

I've removed the first 3. The fourth one, Pinned, was published on Jan 2nd 2014 according to Amazon so I've not touched the rest of of your list. The Goodreads records could be wrong. I'll look at it tomorrow (in daylight) if no one else does it in the meantime.

Good morning! I started a list titled Fearless Fifteeners. It's a list for our group of debut authors who have a first book coming out in 2014/2015. My agent made a mistake and thought she was adding books to her own list but was actually adding books by her clients that have already published.
