I also would like Goodreads to consider allowing list creators to edit books on their own list. I can see in general not allowing edits, but it makes it much harder to curate the lists I create when all I can do is prune duplicates.

Books that do not fit the guidelines:
- Heirs of War by Mara Valderran (main characters are 17)
- Forgiveness by Rain Murphy (no evidence in in blurb or reviews to indicate that the story has any relevance to New Adult themes)
- Dark Hope by HD Smith (no evidence in blurb or reviews to indicate that the story has any relevance to New Adult themes)
Also, I’m just curious: Is it possible to delete a list (or request a deletion) if I am the creator?

Generally, not if other users have voted on it. Goodreads considers Listopias to be a community resource. Lists are not owned by their creators.

The votes certainly do look odd with exactly the same nineteen people voting for only one book on multiple lists but that is not particularly uncommon. If you think someone is pranking you then you should contact Customer Support. The books themselves do appear to fit the requirements of the lists.
That is weird. I just looked at the first example, but the avatars all look very similar, they all have very similar numbers of friends and very similar numbers of books shelved, in the low double digits. The ones I looked at all joined in April of this year. Normally I would think they're socks, but if you're disavowing them...

There are several books on this list that are not in the alternate world fantasy genre and also aren't BDSM in most cases. All except one are by either Hunter Fox or Whitney Fox.BDSM is consensual and not 'forced'.
The fantasy genre is not the same as an erotic fantasy with a single changed fact - a creature that mates with a human, whether mythological or a dinosaur! :)

Is it okay if I add that information to the list description - about erotic fantasy not being the same as the fantasy genre? I doubt the description was read by these authors anyway but it might help stop some people doing this.

re 235/5, i left 'Gay Lord of the Orcs', because there's at least some potential of BDSM-like elements (e.g., the 'lord'), and I also left Camilla's Consequences, which sounded just fine for the list (did you link to it accidentally?).this thread is still watched, but it is good to bump every once in awhile if you don't get a timely response.

The lists you link to don't actually say they are for NON-fiction only but they do claim to list books that 'teach' or 'that stand the test of time'. On that basis a brand new novel like Fate Twister probably doesn't qualify.
