Uffda, I have 747 books on my TBR list. I happen to have ordered two books this week, one is from my 2011 list, one 2020. So, the first two TBR book I'll read are:

1.) Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, by John Berendt, added to my list 11/16/ 2011. Read 1/7/2021, 1 * TBR List now 746 books

2.) Mr. Emerson's Wife, by Amy Belding Brown, added to my list 12/20/2020. Started 1/7/2021, finished 1/18/2021

3.)Next to Love by Ellen Feldman, added to my list 11 May 2012, started 1/7/2021, finished 1/11/2021. TBR List now 745 books.

4.) Between Husbands and Friends by Nancy Thayer, added to TBR 11 May 2012, started 1/9/2021, finished 1/14/2021, TBR List now 744 books.

5.) A Grown Up Kind of Pretty by Joshilyn Jackson, added to TBR 4 December 2012, started 1/10/2021, finished 1/15/2021, TBR List now 741 (I removed 2 other books by same author, don't care for her style.)

Well, checked duplicates and now my TBR List is down to 712 books instead of 741.

Removed more books from TBR List, now down to 683 books. I think I need to focus on just my TBR list other than my real life book club, which is only 1 book/month.

9.) A Circle of Dead Girls by Eleanor Kuhns, added to TBR 2/1/2020, started 1/27/2021, finished 2/2/2021. TBR List now 683 books, no net change, LOL, because I added a book. I need to remove more books from the list.

10.) Only Time Will Tell by Jeffrey Archer, added to TBR 1/1/2021, started 2/3/2021, finished 22 Feb. Have now read 10 books on TBR List, only 682 books to go, LOL.

Taking a short break to finish three books not on TBR LIst, then back to TBR in a week or so.

Well, my break was longer than a week. It is now 4/17 so. time to pick out a book from my TBR List.

You definitely have permission to delete! That's been the best part of this challenge for me - admitting to myself which books I'm no longer interested in and moving them off my list. It feels really liberating! There are sooooooooo many books in the world, and you don't have to read them all. Our interests and focus change over time, so it's nothing to feel bad about. :D
