I was reading other comments about OHotMU Deluxe edition and I agree that it's a shame they didn't divide the book into two volumes. It is an extremely large book (nearmint has a video review.)
I picked up the original omnibus for nostalgia and I might still even have the individual issues of the Deluxe version. The size was enough to keep me from spending the money on it.

That is massive, and I’m fairly certain that will be the largest book in my collection. I’ve never had issue with the big ones and reading them, but definitely a good candidate for adding support under the pages for when it’s on the shelf.
I don’t know anything about the Marvel Handbook Omni. Is it sort of like a history ala X-Men Grand Design?

Dr Aphra looks to be sold out already. Either that or mine's not loading right. It's sold out on CGN too. I wouldn't have expected that, but thankfully I got the DM already ordered! Enjoy Invincible, Ryan. It's one of my favorites.
Thanks. I just finished volume 3 of Invincible and I love the series so much that I knew I had to own the rest. I was hoping to binge it all before the Amazon show comes out but I don’t think I’m gonna get there, especially with IST long shipping times.
Their shipping times have been so long lately! I'm still waiting on my February 2nd order to ship. It's been picked and scanned for almost a week now, but hasn't been sent. Maybe they're combining my two orders into one shipment? I dunno..
My last order with them took almost a month from the time I ordered it until it arrived. Took weeks to show as picked and scanned. Frustrating, but overall I’ve been very happy with them so I just try and stay patient and understanding. In the case of the Invincible books, they were $23 each instead of $35 on Amazon, so well worth the wait to save that much on each book.
That's definitely worth it. I thought those had been out of print for a while, so I wonder if they did another printing with the show coming out
I’m pretty Zen about the wait for IST, ToW, etc. I’d rather wait longer for an undamaged book than have a beat up copy in hand sooner. But it can be a bit irksome waiting sometimes!

I just like having them and seeing them on the shelf waiting for me lol.
Split Aphra/Marvel Handbook and New Warriors omnis between ToW and IST, we'll see who gets here first. :)
Well, I’ve also run out of shelf space, so that may help encourage my Zen attitude, LOL. They longer they take to get here the longer I can put off reorganizing my shelves.
I picked up the Captain America Golden Age omni and the Captain America by Jack Kirby. Also grabbed X-Men by Claremont and Lee vol 2 and picked up vol 1 since I don't have it. For paper, got the Capt America Sam Wilson complete collection and the Mighty Avengers by Slott complete collection. Sometimes I feel like I"m the only one who gets TPBs here.
Passed on New Warriors because that team never really grabbed my interest.

You're definitely not the only one. Most of my collection is TPBs. I have Sam Wilson v2 coming from DCBS at some point this month.
This month its a killer - X-Men Omnibus 2, Doctor Aphra DM omnibus, slott FF OHC 1, and kirby Captain America Omnibus.It so weird that with all the "great" art, I dont really like the DM covers for the X-Men omnis, so I went with the regular cover for both which I honestly dont love either. Wolverine's neck muscle anatomy on full display through his costume is an immediate reminder of my least favorite type of 90's comic art.
For those interested, CGN is already out of the X omni but both the regular and DM are still available on IST.

I really like that Cho art on the front cover. I don't think I've ever read that story "Red, White, and Blue - Blood" before.

Well, you just pushed me over the edge. I've been debating it, but I've never read it. However, I really like samurai/ronin stuff.
Any idea of the price point? Did it get moved up a week? IST shows it as next week.
Glad to see the Zdarsky DD OHC is coming out a little earlier.

I believe the cover price is $79.99. I want to say the last one I got was 40% off at about $48. That was pre-pandemic so not sure what to expect. It should be available tomorrow.
I'm starting to get a little worried about one of my IST orders. I placed it on 2FEB, and everything has been picked and scanned for two weeks now. I've also had 3 subsequent orders ship, including one that just shipped today, and this one is still stuck. I contacted their customer service, and they told me they'd get it shipped off, but I dunno. I'm worried they lost the box somewhere and it's forgotten!

IIRC, it arrived at my door before I even got a shipping notice.
I have 4 outstanding orders with them and about 4 with CGN. One of my CGN orders is pretty large and contained a lot of special order books. This was after the January stimulus hit and it seemed like 66% of my wish list on IST was no longer in stock. At least with IST you can track progress, but no such luck with CGN.

Anyone else seeing the predicted trend that marvel is going to focus more on Smaller OHC editions than Omnis? It’s looking that way to me.
I put in an order for Yojimbo Saga 1 from some website called Right Stuf Anime (?) - i just did a shopping search on ebay and it was on sale for $50, I figured it was worth a try - if it doesn't ship or its damaged I can just cancel the other. Unfortunately, a few years ago I feel like I could have gotten the others, but now #5 and #6 are the only ones I ever see for < $90 and Im not prepared to drop 1 K on the set. I keep hearing IDW is going to reprint them in color but I havent actually seen anything concrete about the look of it or the timing, has anyone else?

I remember hearing the same thing about IDW printing Usagi in color hardcover editions but also haven't seen any solicited yet. It still seems likely to happen at some point.
I also have all the other Usagi Dark Horse larger hardcover books except volume 1 (and the forthcoming volume 9).
I haven't ordered anything from Right Stuff Anime but I've heard it's a good company with a couple big sales each year that can be helpful for picking up multiple books from a manga series.
Just added a post in the MeWe group with pictures of the first two oversized books in Simonson's Ragnorak series in anticipation of the third volume getting ready to be released.
As someone with every volume of Usagi Yojimbo BUT the first in hardcover, very excited for it
Now you guys are just being annoying with your “I have every other volume talk” :)As for Ragnarok, super excited for that, it definitely doesn’t look like anything else and even older Simonson is still one of the best artists alive.

Woah. I got a shipping notification from InStock Trades and my books are coming... via UPS. What. Is. Happening.Also, I started to read Always An Invader and I REALLY want to like Chip's writing, but I had to bail halfway. Cap throws his shield underwater and it appears to knock people over as if they were on land? Or the art is just confusing. Anyway, I didnt order DareDevil, but I probably will next week - hope thats better.

I like more of his writing than don't. I must have overlooked the part you are talking about in Invader. DD is a slow start but it gets better. His run on PP, Spectacular Spider-Man was pretty good too.
No criticism here, just weird. Last Tuesday I bought 3 books but didn’t see X-Men omnibus 2 and had to go back and buy it separate. The first batch of 3 books shipped Usps and is not even in transit. X-Men shipped UPS and got delivered today. Orders were about 30 minutes apart.

Posted comparison pictures in the MeWe group of the King/Monster sized Marvel hardcover. It's huge but I was still surprised at how huge when I got my lone copy in. I could be tempted by a Steranko Captain America but these are so big not sure I'd be tempted by much else. :)

If you have Inferno and Inferno Crossovers it's the same content in one thicker book that is otherwise the same. =)
Tough cover choices for me on the Marvel omnibus volumes.
There has been a lot of positive press for Al Ewing's work for Marvel. Neat to see him branching out on a creator owned work. If no one buys it in paperback it's unlikely to get a hardcover.
I read the first TPB of Skyward and enjoyed it enough to pick up the hardcover to finish the story.
How important are all the crossovers for Inferno?

I checked that out and compared to the TPB of the title. Except for the Power Pack and Cloak and Dagger tie-ins, I think I have everything else. As much as I like company wide crossovers, I usually prefer to read the crossovers in their own title. I know that doesn't make sense.
I guess like Jeff I have to decide if I want to upgrade. I'm fine with not having all Omnis, or OHCs or whatever. Probably will just stick to my TPB.

Beautiful collection. A tiny tear on the bottom of the slip case which is annoying because it was still sealed, but I go luck with a first edition.
Definitely worth a pick up.
