Remender just signed 3 year exclusive contract with Image, so I imagine he will come out with something interesting. I haven't read Seven to Eternity yet, heard itnis good.

The art is excellet for Seven to Eternity but I need to finish the story. =)

Aildiin, always nice to have stories you exect you would read again in your library.

Vismund, glad they finally got you taken care of. =)

Wolverine Omnibus volume 5 is up for pre-order on DCBS right now. I am impressed by the number of mini-series that are getting included. It's what pushed me over to ordering a copy. I don't know what the odds are a volume 5 get reprinted very quickly after it eventually sells out. I liked the Tim Sale cover the best of the available options. Contents:

Collecting WOLVERINE (1988) #76-101 and ANNUAL '95, MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS (1988) #150-151, CABLE (1993) #16, WOLVERINE: EVILUTION, WOLVERINE/NICK FURY: SCORPIO RISING, GHOST RIDER/WOLVERINE/PUNISHER: THE DARK DESIGN, WOLVERINE: KNIGHT OF TERRA, WOLVERINE/GAMBIT: VICTIMS #1-4, UNCANNY X-MEN (1981) #332, LOGAN: PATH OF THE WARLORD and material from MARVEL COMICS

I saw that too. There's still a couple of his most recent books that I haven't read yet but he's definitely someone I still keep an eye on. Really need to get started on doing a straight run of Deadly Class.

I’m with you in Deadly class. With Remender, Lemire, and Kindt I tend to wait until they finish and then run through. Remender could be freelancing in my opinion, but hopefully with Image deal he has something longer and more special. Give me a hodgepodge multi volume of Fear Agent, Low & Black Science

DCBS has gone live with updated books available.

There is a lot I was interested in. I had to pick a lot of things and then trim it down to something reasonable.

I am getting the Kingdom Deluxe OHC. It's a follow up to Kingdom Come (which is a DC top ten all-timer for me). I've never read it and I'm going to keep my expecations low and hope I'll be pleasently surprised on how good it is.

I also have the Star Wars New Republic omnibus volume 2 with some classic original cannon content on my list along with the current run X-Force OHC vol 3.

I was excited to see Gruenwald Captain America omnibus volume 1 is up for pre-order. It's something I've said for years would be great to see printed. I'm not sure I cam going to get it though, I custom bound the run and included all sorts on non Gruenwald mini-series/one shots in the approrpiate places. And, I will eventually get all the Masterworks. So, this would be a double or triple dip and the books are $81 each now so I'm torn.

Several other Marvel omnibus reprints available. There is also a Batman and Son Absolute Edition. I have this content in smaller hardbacks. I would have bought this years ago but just can't affort all the things now.

I always just add products to the cart and then whittle it down. This month's initial cart was over $800. lol. I about fainted. I ended up making a note on my calendar for when the omnis come out next year and will see if I have the $$ to buy them then. Hate not to preorder the ROM omni vol 2 but I'll try and get it next summer.

I ordered a few trades in softcover and in HC, but a lot of my money is going to PS Artbooks and their reprints of Golden Age comics. They have published volumes on Blackhawk, Plastic Man, Bulletman, Doll Man, and then one for Military Comics (mostly Blackhawk). This month also had two HC books of some of the classic Gold Key comics starring the Phantom.

I do the same thihng, add things to the cart and then whittle it down.

I also have the Bersek DLX volume 14 on it's way to me. Sad it will be forever unfinished by the original author. Ostensibily, he left guidence on where the story was going. Hopefully, his coworkers can finish it strong for him.

Vismund | 31 comments Relatuart wrote: Ostensibly, he left guidance on where the story was going.

Yes, he explained what he had planned to his close friend, Kouji Mori, who in turn will continue the story. He will only write the parts explained to him I stead of creating his own take on the series which is good.

Picked up the 3 volumes of Black Science 10th anniversary edition hc.

DCBS is live with their December solicits. =)

I'm picking up Avengers Masterworks vol 4, the Coda DLX hardcover (second printin I think, I've giving my first copy as Christmas present), and perhaps the Terry and the Pirates Master Collection vol 7. Keeping a slimmer month for me.

DCBS solicits have been up for a few days now.

The DM cover for Star Wars Tales of the Jedi by Dave Dorman is really excellent. It's original canon star wars originally published by Dark Horse. Very tempted to get it and the cover is absolutely what caught my eye. =)

Read the first Ablaze comics Conan book last night. I bought the boxed set with four volumes in it. The second story was better but the first one was not good. Terrible cringe dialog and the art was nowhere near good enough to save it. I'll have to report back on whether it gets better in the subsequent volumes.

It is. I didn't find it titallating, wasn't in love with the art, but 12 year me would have.

Great news! Birthright by Joshua Williamson is finally getting a hardcover collection. Looks like a 500 odd page long volume one is coming October first.

J | 531 comments I see Titan is just reprinting the Conan omnibi. I think I've noticed one volume that I preordered months ago that was "new."

Bulk of my DCBS preorder are the reprint books of Golden Age comics from PS Artbooks and Fantagraphics.

DCBS new months worth of orders are live.

Of note, EC Covers Artisan Ed Hardcover – 15 by 22 inches, contains more than 140 covers for $25.59. The price alone for this size book makes this intriguing.

https://www.dcbservice.com/product/ma...-

Savage Sword of Conan Omnibus volume 9 from Titan Comics is up for pre-order again.

Cates Thor Omnibus is out and I am probably going to pick up a copy. I noticed they are charging more DM cover versions now.

Anyone recommend Tom King's Supergirl? A DLX hardcover is up for order.

I'm still showing my initial order of the Titan Savage Conan book from summer of last year as being on my "unshipped" list. Hasn't been canceled so wondering why it's being resolicited.

The Supergirl book has some great art, but the story depends on whether or not you like King's work.

I'm getting the Micronauts omni, the Avengers Busiek/Perez Omni, Superman by Busiek HC, and some paperbacks of various titles.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, then again I am a Tom King fan so my opinion is a bit biased. From what I understand the new show is based on his series though...

Picked up my copy of Dark Knights Death Metal omni, Ultimate Spider-Man Death of Spider-Man and Emperor Joker Deluxe HC.

Got an email from DCBS today that the Savage Sword Omni solicited last year has been canceled and to reorder with this month's solicitation, so that's what I did.

The Complete Slipcased Rene Tardi POW is something I've been wanting to see available for a long while. Happy to see it advertised for preorder on DCBS:

https://www.dcbservice.com/product/se...

Description: "When French tank crewman René Tardi was captured by the Germans on May 22, 1940, his life was forever changed. He is shipped off to a P.O.W. camp, Stalag IIB, where he endures a brutal day-to-day existence for nearly five years. Once the war winds down, he faces a long, grueling journey back to France, buoyed only by the vision of his wife Henriette awaiting him at home. The final act finds René struggling to adapt to civilian life, begrudgingly re-enlisting, and returning to Germany to help rebuild the country that imprisoned him.In The Complete I, René Tardi, P.O.W., cartoonist Jacques Tardi vividly renders his father’s harrowing story, a story enriched with his own childhood memories. Both an homage to his father and a testament to the silent suffering of a generation of men scarred by war, Tardi’s graphic novel trilogy is a personal and artistic triumph. This box set also features a slew of fascinating contextual features, including reference photographs, excerpts of René’s notebooks, and several illuminating essays."
