I finished reading The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel, 5 ★. Here's my review.

I've finished 3 books.
Panther's Claim by Eve Langlais ★★★. Not as good as the first in the series because the MCs were weak (her) and cheesy (him). However the underlying connecting plot within the series is intriguing enough to keep my interest.

Fate's Edge by Ilona Andrews ★★★1/2. Another book not as good as the ones before it in the series. I want to adore everything the Andrews team writes and I almost feel guilty not giving them more stars but this book had issues. The most glaring of all was the romance part. So sad. I never doubt Kate and Curran's love. I never doubt Nevada and Connor's love. Heck I never doubt Cerise and William's love in the book before this but with Kaldar and Audrey I'm scratching my head and asking "But is it really love?" The highlight of the book was Jack and George's large parts throughout the story.

The Woman Left Behind by Linda Howard ★★★★ It's been a long minute since Howard wrote a series and I'm glad she's writing them again because I want more of the Go Teams. So many great things about this book but it ended so quickly, wrapping up everything in a few pages it was a bit shocking. I definitely wasn't satisfied with the ending and took a whole star away because of it. It's still recommend it though.

Yesterday I read The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O'Neill, 5 ★. I'm not a big fan of graphic novels, but this one was cute.
My review: This is a cute quick read about Greta and the new friends she meets when she finds a tea dragon cornered in an alley by some hungry dogs. She is already learning about blacksmithing from her mother and soon finds herself learning how to care for tea dragons. It’s a good book about how different people from different backgrounds can find common ground and become friends.
