I set mine for 12 because presumes I will read every BOTM.

I set mine for 12 because presumes I will read every BOTM."
I can commit to more than one LOL I think I will will go with 10 because 1 just is not a challenge. Besides I have been feeling the need for a few rereads lately ( just to be in that comfort zone) and this list has many that I would love to reread this year. Maybe 5 BOTM and 5 rereads would work for me with a bonus of some on the list that I have not read yet.

My 10:

Finished:

Ok I figured it out!

Graceling
Rot & Ruin
The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown
Grave Mercy

I just reread the parameters for this challenge. I thought current group reads counted but now I am unsure. Can you clarify?

I guess it's up to you

I'm on the waiting list for

I am in south Florida - I am sure you have seen the news about how we are doing here. I am a mess mentally and emotionally as a teacher and a parent! I was just watching the school board meeting - which became passionate and emotional- and now they are going over all the comments from teachers, parents and community members. There are 4 hours and 48 min. of this before they resume the discussion and present their plan for reopening. Needless to say I am not listening to all of that - I have been consumed so I know all sides of what is being said. I will log back in after dinner for the end of the meeting. Good luck to you and your family, I hope for some peace of mind for you.

Yes, I have heard about how things are faring in Florida. I feel for all families and especially teachers right now. We want the kids to be educated, absolutely! But we want to be safe too.
I know that since I heard our reopening plan I have taken a break from everything. No news, no social media. Nothing. These are trying times indeed. I will be thinking about you and your family as well, and hoping that Florida , and this country, can turn it around and quickly.

I am a bit behind schedule as of right now. I am hoping to find that niche where reading feels good again.

My library only has the first book (sniff, sniff)

Explanation:
The prime objective of this YEAR-LONG challenge is catch up or re-read past YA-MA group reads. This is part of a broader goal to liven the group up a bit. I am going to try and set it up using the GR challenge features. You choose your own goal and create a bookshelf to tag your finished books. You can also participate without creating a personal bookshelf by tracking your reading in your own special way.
Look here at the GROUP BOOKSHELF here to see all the past YA-MA group reads or in post #2.
Create a PERSONAL BOOKSHELF here (starting January 1).
Posting Suggestions:
1. Roll Call- Tell us if you want to join, how many books your goal will be, and which books off the group shelf you hope to read.
2. Updates- Every once in a while, stop back in an give us your reading highlights. What books did you read and did you like them?
