If the 'shifters link up somehow, sure.

Hayley | 550 comments I read that one as 2 separate things merge into 1. But I think shapeshifting would work for firestorm #2 something is changed into something else.

message 22: by Johanne (new)

Johanne *the biblionaut* | 793 comments Yes, I think so too about #2, but I have a hard time thinking of something for #3. I can think of something where the mind/soul overtakes a body but that's not merging physically. I can think of Monstress where one being live inside another being and I think that would work, but it's a graphic novel. Then I thought of if shapeshifters would work.

message 23: by Johanne (new)

Johanne *the biblionaut* | 793 comments ...but I could just use one of the other options in #3. l just have a shape shifter book I want to read in mind ;)

Yep, that's what I meant. That's a big part of the Firestorm character.

Can we receive up to two energy cells per month? i.e. read one monthly read for sci-fi, one for fantasy, or a swap with the mod choice for one of them. Or is it one energy cell per month and we just pick one of the monthly reads?
Trying to plan how much I can squeeze in next month...

Unless it's changed from last year's rules (which I'm pretty sure it hasn't) you can get 2 energy cells per month (the scifi BOTM and the fantasy BOTM or substituting a mod special for one of them), you just can't get three by reading both books of the month *and* the mod special.

Great, that´s how I understood the rules, but I wasn´t sure. Thanks. Now I´ll just have to see if I can squeeze in those BOTM reads.

Wayland Smith | 3545 comments Mod
Vinca is indeed correct. The BOTM can be an Energy Cell or used in a challenge slot, just not both.

You can use the 2 BOTM, or substitute the Mod Special for one, just not all 3 in the same month.

For the child carries on their parent's legacy Skyward would probably fit if you've not read it as the MC becomes a fighter pilot like her dad was.

Duel of Fire would fit too as: (view spoiler)
