If the late David Bowie could be a hero just for one day –we can surely all be heroes for a whole month.

I have selected 12 fictional superheroes and you can choose which ones you want to be during August. You can be 3, 6 or 9 different heroes – but you only need to pick one of the tasks offered.

3 heroes = 3 Books (1 must be by an Australian author)
6 heroes = 6 Books (2 must be by Australian authors)
9 heroes = 9 Books (3 must be by Australian authors)

DON'T FORGET

1. Our guidelines HERE

2. Please include pictures of the book covers especially when the task requires something to be on the cover - for example if you pick the task that needs a cat or a specific colour on the cover - then we need to see those covers as we don't have time to click on each link to go and check :)

Here are the heroes:

Batman
*Read a book that has an orphan as a character; or
*A book that has a detective MC

Wonder Woman
*Read a book written by a woman; or
*A translated book (let us know what language it has been translated from)

Heather I've got my books:
Thor: mythology: Circe

Wonder Woman: written by a woman: The Dry, also an Aussie author!

Captain America: set in America: Courage to Be You: Inspiring Lessons from an Unexpected Journey. The author lives in Utah (USA, where I live) and is the richest woman in the state. It is her biography.

I'm so excited for this challenge, all the books were on my tbr list! Thanks, Sally!
