Aquaman

The Fifth To Die

If sick psycho killers are your thing you will want to read this.
It must be my thing as I gave it 4 stars:-)

Hulk: Read a book with a shapeshifter.. Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare 3★ for this re-read. I am enjoying going back over the whole shadow hunters series & rediscovering the intricate layers built into each trilogy & how each overlaps. Cassandra Clare Has done a magnificent job building a complex world for her characters.
I think there is enough of the month left for me to try for Medium level so I'm going to attempt 3 more.

They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? - Horace McCoy ★★★★★
Horace McCoy's short but tidy story about a young man convicted of a shooting during a dance marathon in the 1920s, opening with him being sentenced in court, and unfolding the story from there.
There is also a potted history of Mr. MrCoy by William Marling in the back of the book. At one time in his multi-faceted life, Horace McCoy was a bouncer for a dance marathon in Santa Monica, and used his experience to create the story as well as a film script, but both fame and money seemed to elude him. His first printing only sold 3000 copies, and those were mostly to French existentialists. He was a prolific writer and jazz aficionado, but whilst working on a book entitled The Hard Rock Man, McCoy had a heart attack and died. His wife had to sell his books and his jazz collection to pay for his funeral.
