Well done Owl, me too with only 4 hours to spare!
My final hero CAPTAIN AMERICA was an exceptional novel, 5 shiny stars.
*A book set in the USA
There There by Tommy Orange
This month was a real challenge, since I am so time poor. Another time, if I could, I would have loved to add in a comic of each of the actual heros whose classification I was reading for. I quite like comics, and a lot of the modern Marvel and DC ones are very readable.
Well done all those who finished. I didn’t quite make it — am half way through my last one and really enjoying it..My list was:
Wonder Woman – Read a book written by a woman
The Secret Lives of Superhero Wives by Joynell SchultzCaptain America – Read a book set in the USA
Hardcore Twenty-Four by Janet EvanovichSuperman – Read a book where a male MC is going through a crisis
The Artisan Heart by Dean Mayes (AA) Should finish this by the end of the weekend - is really good.
Many, many congratulations to all those who have finished in the last week or so. :) Well done to everyone! :) I just scraped in, but can mark this Superheroes challenge as complete with finishing The Jade Lily by Kirsty Manning at about 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon! Thanks to the Mods team once again for another brilliant challenge - and now it's off to the September and Spring Challenges! :)
