Hope you find something you like."
Thank you so much Heather! I want to read so many of your new picks for me. I hope to read a few of these this month- Let It Shine , Must Love Otters, His Road Home, Prime Minister and Act Like It. Whatever I can't get to will go on my tbr for sure :)
You are exactly right on my feelings about Historical these days. I read so many Regency era titles a few years ago that I am burnt out on them. But I do still enjoy reading historicals from different time periods. Medieval, Viking, 50's, 60's, anything other than Regency, really, lol.
Thanks again for the great picks!

This is one of the reasons why I like this challenge: pursuing people's shelves to see what they like and how it compares to my books. For us, out of 900+ books we each have we only have 11 books in common :) So I really hope you find something worthwhile from the 'New' options because I have no cooking clue about sci-fi, paranormal or the classics.
Here are my picks for you:
National Flower
TBR: City of Glass by Cassandra Clare - set in NY (bonus!)
New: King of Wall Street by Louise Bay - set in NY and a good start to the series.

Rose Hip
TBR: Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
New: Private Practice by Samanthe Beck - the female MC is a doctor.

Symbolism
TBR: The Blue Bicycle by Régine Deforges
New: Bully by Penelope Douglas - mainly a black cover.

Prickly Thorns
TBR: East by Edith Pattou - something to do with a white bear.
New: Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley

Literature and Songs
TBR: It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover - winner of the romance category for the Goodreads Awards last year and overall a very popular book.
New: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne - definitely a favourite of mine and very popular.

To Infinity and Beyond
TBR: The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon
New: Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Historical
TBR: Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
New: First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones

Timeless
TBR: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien - been on your TBR shelf since July 2013.

Thank you for the picks, Nicole. It really is fascinating that we only have 11 books in common out of so many we have shelved. :)
Anyways, I really like the books you chose and I think I'll try to get through at least 2 of the ones you picked. The ones that currently seem most appealing are It Ends With Us and The Hating Game, but I'm having my eye on Bully and Opal as well! :)

These look wonderful! Thanks so much Rachel C.!

Here are your picks - I hope you can find something that you'll enjoy"
JoJo - Thanks for the picks! They look great. There are so many I'm looking forward to reading. I can't wait for June!!

Working on your picks now, Broken-barriers!
And THANK YOU BRETT for the great picks! I'm reading Outlander this month, now actually, but all others I'm intrigued and excited for!

Thanks for the great picks Kait! I'm looking forward to June.

You have some great books on your TBR. I hope some of these suggestions peak your interest.
1. National Flower: Go to boarding school for the magical in Georgia with Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins. Or see a different South where magical mob families run the town and a young thief gets pulled into their war with Cold Burn of Magic by Jennifer Estep

2. Rose Hip: Watch a young widow slowly heal in the tearjerker P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern. Or another young widow needs saved after she escapes from prison during a tornado and needs to prove she didn't kill her husband in the kooky The Escape Diaries by Juliet Rosetti.

3. Symbolism: My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent gives us a look at a teenage Banshee who doesn't know what she is. Or enjoy the sweet and funny romance of Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey where a reporter is forced to go on a family vacation with an old boyfriend to get a story.

4. Prickly Thorns: They don't get any more alpha than the Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley. If you can handle the over the top situations, it is a fun ride. Or check out the forcibly retired vampire hunter who is recruited by a seer in Semi-Charmed by Isabel Jordan.

5. Literature and Songs: Imagine waking up hungover in Vegas and married to a rock star. Then realize it messes up all your life plans in Lick by Kylie Scott. Or go back to college and make a deal with the star hockey player to try and catch the football player in The Deal by Elle Kennedy.

6. To Infinity and Beyond: Aerendgast by Rachel Berman sounded interesting. Or check out a fun romance where a shapeshifter is being investigated by his insurance agency and the whole town is trying to keep the secret from the investigator in Kodiak's Claim by Eve Langlais.

7. Historical: There are lots of secrets in this amazing YA mystery story - The Westing Game by Ellen Rankin. Or check out a great retelling of Beauty and the Beast in Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare.

8. Timeless: This has been on your TBR for a few years - Cinder by Marissa Meyer. It is a interesting retelling of Cinderella set in the future with partial cyborgs and a very disturbing plague. Or count the years as a young girl witnesses a crime and then tries to stay hidden in The Witness by Nora Roberts. We are cheating a bit as it is only 12 years, not 15 - but this is a great story.

National Flower
NEW: The Perils of Pleasure - England. I just finished this 11-book series and LOVED the whole thing! Some books not as much, but this one was definitely a winner for me.
NEW: Pemberley Ranch - US/Texas, and an interesting Americanized western take on P&P. I enjoyed it
Rose Hip
TBR: Ensnared - Character needing healing (duh, we all know the story!) :)
NEW: Flirting with Felicity - cooking/chef - and surprisingly really a good read!
Symbolism -
TBR: The Night Circus - Black Cover; also on my to-read list
TBR: No Rest for the Wicked - passionate embrace
Prickly Thorns -
TBR: Naughty Boss - That guy sounds like a total alpha male... Hope the book is good!
NEW: The Man Who Loved Pride and Prejudice: A Modern Love Story with a Jane Austen Twist - Another great modern P&P retelling and one of my favorites! It also goes by the name Pemberley by the Sea: A Modern Love Story, Pride and Prejudice Style. Try to get the physical book though, I found the Kindle edition skipped whole segments! Oh, and there's a dog... :)
Literature and Songs
TBR: The Storyteller's Daughter: A Retelling of the Arabian Nights - storyteller and sounds interesting!
NEW: Of Beast and Beauty - rose on cover. Fantastic fantasy adaption of the classic Beauty and the Beast story.
To Infinity and Beyond
TBR: The Princess Bride - Fantasy, I have a love/hate relationship with the movie, but the book is pretty close to it, and good! Love the movie now as an adult, but was so terrified of that giant rat in the movie that I refused to watch it as a kid! (silly, I know, but that thing was straight outta my nightmares!)
NEW: The Iron King - Fantasy/sci-fi and hands down a fantastic series IMHO! I was riveted from page one and my only quibble was the love triangle.
Historical
TBR: Devil in Winter - LOOOVE this series!!! (Love all Lisa Kleypas' work to date actually... I could go on and on...)
NEW: It Happened One Autumn - This is actually book #2 in the Wallflowers Series by Lisa Kleypas and my personal favorite - I adore Lillian's strong character and all the conflicting emotions and eventual attraction between modern American Lillian and stodgy, starched up Marcus, Lord Westcliff. You don't necessarily have to read this one before reading Devil in Winter, but the OCD reader in me insists you put this one first!
NEW: Again the Magic - Having said that... this one is the prequel to all of the Wallflowers books.... and is absolutely wonderful! Again, doesn't have to be read in order, but it gives a good behind-the-family-walls insight into Marcus from 'Autumn'. It's also an absolutely charming story.
Timeless
TBR: Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife: Pride and Prejudice Continues - What's more timeless that P&P? This is a good adaption of the 'after the wedding' for P&P, though mild by some standards, I enjoyed it!
NEW: An Assembly Such as This - three-part series. P&P from Darcy's perspective. Probably one of the best adaptions I've ever read! Unlikely you'll find it to buy or even in the Kindle form so just request all three from the library if you can. (the other two are Duty and Desire and These Three Remain.)

I hope you find something you like. xx

Styxx (Dark-Hunter, #22) by Kenyon, Sherrilyn (NEW) - 836 pgs and my favorite book in the series. I believe that it can be read as a standalone.
