I wanted to let you know that I have completed five of the books you suggested (so far). The one I actually started in May (Take a Chance on Me) but only because it was on the May PIFM also. Most have been on my TBR list, but I did read one of the new suggestions (Kill Without Mercy) and really enjoyed it. I'm a little bummed that there are only two in the series and no word on any others. For the most part I enjoyed everything you've chosen, so thanks for guiding my reading. In total, this is everything I've read so far from your suggestions:
Take a Chance on Me by Susan Donovan The Day We Met by Rowan Coleman The Unspoken (Krewe of Hunters, #7) by Heather Graham Kill Without Mercy (ARES Security, #1) by Alexandra Ivy Little Women (Little Women, #1) by Louisa May Alcott

message 140: by Fran, Moderator (new)

Fran | 12278 comments Hi Heather,

I finished a second new rec of yours, Let It Shine by Alyssa Cole . Wow, another emotional read! The time period of the 1960's was very interesting, and heartbreaking. Thanks for another great pick, I really enjoyed it :)

After reading this I would love to visit New Orleans.
Next Stars of Fortune Stars of Fortune (The Guardians Trilogy, #1) by Nora Roberts

message 142: by Brett (new)

Brett | 478 comments Finished The Last Mermaid by Shana Abe . Had a hard time getting through this one, but I'm glad it is now off my TBR. lol! I hope to read Stolen Beauty by Laurie Lico Albanese next.

Really great picks this month!
Absolutely loved The Unsung Hero (Troubleshooters, #1) by Suzanne Brockmann . The suspense/thriller subgenre is not something I usually go for so I was surprised to enjoy this one so much. (Already on book 6 of this series now....lol)& Suzanne Brockmann is a new author to me. Am so tickled because her backlist is massive.

Also liked A Touch of Greek (Out of Olympus, #1) by Tina Folsom - Charleston & Greek mythology- never seen that before. Will definitely continue with series. And also The Highwayman (Victorian Rebels, #1) by Kerrigan Byrne

Working through The Raven (The Florentine, #1) by Sylvain Reynard Immortal in Death (In Death, #3) by J.D. Robb Lost & Found (Lost & Found, #1) by Nicole Williams What a Gentleman Wants (Reece Family Trilogy, #1) by Caroline Linden Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas and enjoying them all very much so far.

The Gamble (Colorado Mountain, #1) by Kristen Ashley this is the third Kristen Ashley book I've read...her kinda alpha-hole heroes tend to not be my catnip. So (insert raspberry noise here) to this one.

But all & all really great reading month thanks for the marvelous picks!
