AUTUMN CHALLENGE


This challenge will last from September 23, 2015 to December 20, 2015


** This is a "spell-it-out" challenge, where you will spell out a word (or words) using one of two options:
1. Use only the first word of a title. (The words "the", "and" "a" and "an" do not count.)
2. Use an author's first or last name.

As with previous seasonal challenges, you do not have to spell the same word as everyone else, but can choose to spell out one of the following words (or combination of words) — obviously some words will be more challenging than others.

I am working on 8 words which requires me to read 66 books. They are of course, various genres. I have read 36 which means I am more than halfway and there are still 53 days out of 89 left. I should be able to make it, but will see. I still do not have a full word yet, but hopefully in a few days I will at least have one. One of the joys of being retired is that I get to read pretty much whenever I want. My booklist is at post #15.

Finished. I know I have time for another word, but the books I want to read between now and Christmas will not make up any of the words on the list. Not enough vowels, LOL So, I will stick with this being done, and look forward to Christmas.

I hope Eggnog will be on the winter list. I have THREE books coming out that start with G!!! (Hint, hint)

That was how I ended up with so many words. I would read a book and it would not fit in any of the words I had, so I added another one. I should just give it up and finish the first 3 I started with. I am also getting ready to read my Christmas/Holiday books. I can not believe how many I have accumulated.

I am still working on GRAVEYARD, SKELETON, BLACKCAT, FOOTBALL and ACORNS. I have a few letters in each word to finish up. We will see if I get anymore complete. I know I gave myself a lofty goal, but that was part of the fun.
