Really.... Cursed Child won the election???? What's next Harry Potter and the Ham Sandwich maybe Harry Potter and the Hard Day at Work???I mean if the story's going to go on at least tell a story that follows the characters along...maybe Harry Potter and the Divorce or something.

Heh! Totally agree and thought the same thing when I saw it won.
I think it goes to show people just vote for whatever they've heard of, and not necessarily what they've read.
So, a friend finally got me to try Gotham and I got hooked on it...binged watched it....and now don't have anything to watch. Ho figure.I set out to find something else to binge watch, tried Nikita...nope not great. tried DC Legends...wow, dumb. Now watching Daredevil. Not bad (well some of it's a little ludicrous but it's not terrible), but I wonder if anyone making the series gets the irony of having a show about a blind guy with 25% or so of the dialogue in subtitles.
I've tried Daredevil but haven't really gotten hooked. I'm actually on a fresh new superhero burnout. Deleted Arrow from my queue unfinished and can't bring myself to continue watching the other ones.
I haven't watched Arrow in a while, nor Agents of Shield, and I never really got into The Flash. I wanted to watch Guardians but haven't really found the time.
The last Arrow ended on a huge "WTF just happened!?" thing.Daredevil is awesome. Sorry you suck. ;)
Do have to get around to Luke Cage eventually.
Loved all three Netflix/Marvel shows, thought Daredevil season 2 was best. Second half of Luke Cage got a bit silly, but was still fun. Jessica Jones was difficult but rewarding, if occasionally a bit heavy-handed.About halfway through Flash s1, am liking but definitely seeing the drawbacks of traditional American TV schedule. Having to do 22 eps/year does make consistency much harder, and commercial breaks are also a hindrance.
Netflix has seriously put the brakes on my reading. Am now addicted to ESPN's "30 For 30" docs.
Can't agree...I date back to the '50s, 32 shows a season. The "TV season" ran from Sept. to May or June and summers were reruns. I hate the 10 shows and now we're gone for 6 months thing.

Happy Human Rights Day everyone.
Guests are about to come over and I may not have access to the laptop for a few days.Just wishing everyone good cheer! :)

James, that is perfect (and as Chris said very humane)!
I do have multiple copies of some Malazan and I DARE hubby to even LOOK at my HB Dark Tower. Speaking of that, I need to buy him a paperback of SoS so he can stop looking at my books. Though he has it on audio.
The army "chefs" used to serve a gastronomic delight the men called "sos"...(view spoiler). It was creamed chipped beef on toast. When I was in it was "retired", finally. They went to hamburger gravy over eggs.
Yeah, I generally stuck with the ground beef over eggs. I got to like it pretty well. It beat a lot of what was offered.
We did throw the sausage gravy over eggs when I went through basic. We only had about 2 minutes to finish our meal so the gravy was good to make it slide down quickly.

LOL, When I was in basic I remember our DI saying, "eat now, shew later". They really didn't go for spending time eating, to this day I eat too fast.
Hamburger gravy over EGGS? (My face just puckered up, and may stay there for a while) Say it aint so! In elementary school. we were always served HB gravy over sticky rice. It was my (second) favorite school lunch.
I do like hamburger gravy over rice. And toast. My great-Aunt used to make gravy on fully cooked patties and serve it with hamburger buns heavily buttered and toasted.
OMG. Tasty.
Mike (the Paladin) wrote: "Isn't awful how when "stuff" tastes good it's bad for you."Yes. Sooo awful. If I look at something tasty I gain 5 lbs. But if I eat "healthy" it takes 5 wks to lose 2 lbs. fml
Here's a perhaps odd question. Does anyone else feel weird eating eggs and chicken, mixed somehow?I get a Zaxby's salad sometimes that has grilled chicken. Among other things, there are boiled eggs sliced and put on top. When I eat it, I avoid getting a bite with both the chicken and the egg. Am I weird?
