I was reading a book today that mentioned malapropisms and spoonerisms.

While I'm familiar with malaprops, I have never heard of spoonerisms before.

But in a really weird bit of synchronicity, today's Merriam Webster Word of the Day is:

Sometimes I subconsciously DNF - as in, put the book down and then forget about it. But sooner or later, it niggles at me to try again.

That's one of the reasons I wish I read at a faster pace; to put books out of their misery. The other is so that I can read what I have to read and still have time to read what I want to read.
