I don't think so, but apparently you can submit the request for anything and wait and see what they say...

I wonder if I'll ever get to feel the joy of my team even getting to the Superbowl, let alone winning. Probably not. It's hard being a Lion :*(
I actually was planning on watching the game last night. Our friends invited us over to their place for their SB party, but then we got a ton of slush and snow, so we decided to stay in... and as I do not have over-the-air TV or cable, there was no watching the game for me. I just tracked the score online and finished my book. Very pleased that the Eagles beat the Patriots though. :D
My sister had a party, and a bunch of people bailed on her, so I couldn't not go. It was a nail-biter of a game, though, for someone who doesn't usually watch.
I'm not big on football, but it was a pretty good game. I hate the Patriots...well mostly Brady, so I'm all for another team winning. The Eagles really deserved it though.
Gods, I hated the commentators. They were so up the Patriots asses it wasn't even funny. My family was laughing at me screaming at the TV. Like, "Where in the hell did you come from, Miss I Don't Watch Sports?"
My friend Aaron posted a cheatsheet on FB for how to make it seem like you understand football. Not sure if this link will work: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...

lololol
My only problem with the Eagles winning is that Jim Schwartz is their defensive coordinator. He was also formerly the Lion's head coach. He's not well liked here in Detroit, and I absolutely hate that he just got a Superbowl win. Other than that I'm happy!
Well: I am a Redskins fan. The Eagles are one of our Division rivals. I...am feeling some kind of way. No one really wanted to watch TB12 get another ring...but my division rivals???
I'm a Cowboys fan and the Eagles are rivals. But last night I had my Cowboy jersey on and since the Eagles were representing the the NFC,I was pulling for them all night long. That and I never want to see the New England Patriots win.
It was a great game, fun to watch. But so glad the Eagles won! :)

Everything I've heard about Cowboys fans is wrong! o_O
;)
Charlton, I'm a Cowboys fan as well, by virtue of growing up watching them with my dad, but I was totally rooting for the Eagles last night (in my head anyway, since I wasn't actually watching) because eff the Patriots.
I'm a long time Cowboys fan too (though Broncos are my #1).But damn, was a great year for the Eagles. And happy for Nick Foles.
Carrie wrote: "Those are some beautiful and interesting looking keys."Did you ever read the Locke & Key series? It's a decent dark fantasy/horror graphic novel series by Joe Hill, that I've heard rumor they're turning into a show, which could be cool.

No I haven't actually. But I think I have seen some copies of it at my library.

I always find it weird when series change cover art drastically after the first book - or randomly in the middle.Just came across this example:
An old favorite example:
I just received copies of books 3 & 4 in series (DTB). The first 3 all have glossy covers - book 4 is matte and looks a LOT cheaper. I'm scared to see what book 5 will look like.
colleen the convivial curmudgeon wrote: "That's no good. :("Exactly. And you KNOW my OCD was like "Why are the books no matchy?"
Becky wrote: "Ugh! I hate that! And like, when they make some of the books different sizes?? WHYYYYY???"I hate that, too. My Discworld shelves are all borked.
Continuation of the book cover changes theme, I just spent $20 to get a trade paperback in the "old style" covers, since they've now changed the series to a new style:
Changing to:
Unfortunately, it looks like Book 4 is only available in the new style. *le sigh*
Did they switch publishers? The old covers are great, and the new ones look like something I could put together in MS Paint in 20 mins.

Doesn't appear to be. From what I can tell they were all published by Little, Brown Book Group for hardcover and Atom for paperback.I find the new covers just very... generic, I suppose. But I guess they thought the splashier covers would be better for the target audience?
Need advice! Hubby is reading The Expanse audios and Audible is having a (piss poor) SFF sale. Should I 1) Buy hubby the Expanse novellas since they are on sale AND should I 2) buy hubby Hyperion OR We Are Legion (We Are Bob)?
Not sure. I'm not able to take advantage of the sale as it happens but both those books are ones I haven't gotten to yet.Sorry, I know that doesn't help.
