Anywhere you find a bridge...
I think I must have some kind of tendency to burn them or something...usually just when I need them.
Oo

I've been thinking......what's the difference between a book hoarder and a library?? Aren't they basically the same thing?
Not really... a library is a collection of books and resource material intended to be used by and loaned out to others... a book hoarder just can't bear to let their books go, and likely isn't going to be willing to let others touch or read them, let alone borrow them with their grimy fingers and stupid eyeballs. O_O

O_O
By that definition I'm a hoarder.I loaned out a book and didn't see it again for 18 months,so I'm very careful who I loan my books to now.
Sorry, a library is simply a collection of books. It can be public or private. You become a hoarder when you have books stored in the oven, the fireplace, under the bed, replacing dishes in the cabinets...in the refrigerator...you know like all of us here.

I've decided against storing books in fridges - the paper doesn't like the humidity.
But I do believe that every flat surface is a possible "bookcase."
...well of course you have to turn it off and leave the door open!I mean come on do you think there's something wrong with mt thinking?
I work with some weird people, man.I got told today that it "takes a really dark person to criticize a Disney movie", all because I said Frozen was over-rated. I later established that this guy hadn't even seen a Disney animated/princess movie in ages, so I'm not sure where that comment even came from...
Another guy told me that my opinion was now suspect because I said that I enjoyed Moana more than Wonder Woman. This was after making it clear that I didn't think you could actually compare the two, because they were quite different kinds of movies/stories... but that, ultimately, I enjoyed Moana a bit more.
And now my opinion is suspect.
Oh... and he hasn't even seen Moana, so he actually has no idea. He just decided it "looked terrible" based on the trailers.
I enjoyed Frozen but it was over-rated. Personally I think Disney (cartoons) peaked with The Incredibles
I never really think of The Incredibles as Disney. Yes, yes, I know the whole Pixar bought by Disney thing, but I still think of them as mostly unique properties with unique kinds of offerings. That said, I'm hoping the sequel is as good as the original... once we finally get it.
Also - I really did like Moana. And Tangled was good, too.
Disney movies are great animation but too preachy and too politically correct for my entertainment. I did like The Incredibles and just about anything PIXAR did. Try looking at the Laika Studio productions. They are fantastic stop motion animation. Kubo and the Two Strings, for instance, Boxtrolls, ParaNorman, Corpse Bride. All pretty good.
It's an Amazon sale. I bought a mag subscription for $0.99 for 6 months. And a bubbler for my bird bath but the bubbler wasn't on sale.

^This.

So Amazon got you in for .99 And then you spent above and beyond. It worked.
I got a duffle bag for $20, it was a good deal and I needed a new one.Other than that, I felt kind of gipped. I had set my account to watch deals I was interested in, but even with that they would be gone within seconds, and the waiting list would be full. I feel like it's BS and some of the deals aren't real. Who knows.
Felina wrote: "So Amazon got you in for .99 And then you spent above and beyond. It worked. "Well, I was going to buy the bubbler regardless.
I've recently started gardening and already a war must be fought: June Bugs.
These evil things have invaded my roses and are devouring them! They're eating the leaves and the buds!! The only thing I've read that organically combats June Bugs are birds so I'm trying to make my yard more appealing to birds. I read that birds like moving water more than still water so I'm adding the bubbler to the birdbath.
I've also put some suet out. I need to put another thing of suet out and buy a bird feeder.
I may be currently losing the battle but I shall win the war!
The magazine was named something like "birds and gardens" cause my ass doesn't know how to learn to do things without some kind of printed material, lol.

Magazines or Facebook groups. I don't like Facebook because it's a waste of time and energy but if you can find a group regarding an interest you will have a wealth of knowledge and experience at your finger tips. I've cross stitched for years but I joined some cross stitch groups about a year ago and learned how I was either doing things the inefficient way or doing them downright incorrectly. It sped up my time exponentially.

I didn't follow it close enough to see those types of deals but what was left was lame. I added a Goomba toy to my Goomba wish list for Christmas that was on sale for $.45. Huge savings!! I'll wait until November and pay the full price. ;)

I need to get over that, however. Everyone and every business needs a Facebook group. *ugh*
My baby boy turned one last week, so we had his cake smash party over the weekend:(view spoiler)
Needless to say, it was a success! :-D["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
