Amna (amnai) Twilight and Insurgent/Allegiant.

Divergent was okay

message 352: by Amna (last edited Nov 10, 2014 11:53PM) (new)

Amna (amnai) Oh, and beautiful creatures.

I am not an extreme romance person. I mean, I ship people as long as it doesn't cross the line into... Er... Bedrooms.

(ex: percabeth is awesome but I didn't like tris/four)

I sort of liked the book, but I didn't get the idea that much.

✿ K.B ✿ (kajolb) City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2) by Cassandra Clare <----- This. What is up with this series? OK! I loved the City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare but then that it... It went all down hill in CoA

Leah-Marie Villafana (leah_le_reader) | 18 comments The Maze Runner. It was so boring. And the characters had no personality.

message 357: by Lynne (new)

Lynne Stringer | 344 comments It's interesting how varied this list is. It shows how different we all are when it comes to our taste in books.

message 364: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay | 54 comments Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell I did not care for this! I tried so hard to like it since it is so popular and got such great reviews but I really couldn't get past the horribly unlikable characters...especially the main character, Cath.

Completely agree. My eyes were bleeding.

message 368: by Maddie (new)

Maddie Wecker I really hated Under the Never Sky and Mrs. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

message 369: by Ela (new)

Ela Glad someone mentioned the maze runner, im attempting to finish it at the moment and I'm just finding it so dul!

And insurgent, divergent was alright but I just couldn't stans Insurgent it was so annoying!!

message 370: by Ricky (new)

Ricky (spider-fan) @Tayler: I love the Mortal Instruments books, but I agree with you about the movie - it really wasn't that good. But they're planning a TV series reboot, so... *fingers crossed*

message 372: by Ricky (last edited Nov 12, 2014 03:13PM) (new)

Ricky (spider-fan) @Erica: Neither did I! :D And I always manage to forget that one when I list off the books I really don't like.

I agree! She was so horribly uncomfortable doing everything that involved being around other humans...I just couldn't relate to this at all. There was also pretty much zero character growth. I thought maybe she would come out of her shell but I didn't really see it.

I feel like it wouldn't have been as bad if they showed her interacting with other people, because she might have realized it wasn't so bad! I think she would have had more growth this way, and she wouldn't have been as scared of any human interaction.

message 376: by Amy D (new)

Amy D Insurgent, Catching Fire, Twilight,

message 377: by Laura (new)

Laura (blueeyebooks) | 88 comments The TMI series for sure

message 378: by Kirstin (new)

Kirstin | 52 comments For me it would be Nevermore. The plot was good but it felt like there was no emotion or suspense. The author would just state what was happening without any emotion or detail to back it up. I just felt very disconnected to the characters.

House of Night I enjoyed at first but after the fifth guy was introduced I was annoyed and disappointed. I gave up I think on book 4 or 5.

Midnights_Darling -The Emo Kittie (theemokittie) Sam wrote: "Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee the plot and the characters were terrible"

I'm actually going to buy this. What was so bad about it?

I must be the only one that loved both the movie and book of Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

I think the casting was spot on. and everything direction they took with the film was awesome. I was actually disappointed about the TV show being announced. I hope they keep the original cast.

LadyOfTheSilverMoon (laura_loh) | 10 comments The Maze Runner was extremely boring and I hated Mockingjay and Insurgent (but I loved Allegiant)

message 382: by Maria (new)

Maria | 6 comments The mortal instruments series is horrific. I could barely get through the first book....and the movie was torture :/

I despise those fallen books as well. The protagonist is an idiot female with no sense at all. Why are they so popular?

message 383: by Kristina (new)

message 386: by Holly (new)

Holly Wood | 13 comments I absolutely hate the Delirium series by Lauren Oliver, the first book was alright but I couldn't even get through the last 2. I tried to skim through and see if it got better but it didn't. It was torture!!!!

message 387: by Holly (new)

Holly Wood | 13 comments I also really didn't like Eleanor and Park. I read it to see why everyone loved it so much, but I don't get why they do. :(

message 388: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (kellymatherly) | 9 comments Joanne wrote: "Fallen (Guardian Trilogy) Laury Falter. Yawn!"

I agree (though I don't think it was the worst I've ever read).

message 389: by Kasi (new)

Kasi The Darkest Minds, the whole trilogy! I dislike Ruby and Liam, they annoy me so much! And the whole thing is just a Debbie-Downer. But everyone seems really love it. Just not for me I guess. And Fifty Shades, probably the most stupid book I have ever read.

I enjoyed the first few of these and then it just got dumb. You read a whole book and nothing really happens! I hated it and I try to not give up on any series, but I have on this one.

message 391: by Ricky (new)

Ricky (spider-fan) I keep forgetting to mention The Raven Boys. I absolutely couldn't get into that one at all. :(

The Tiger Saga

WORST Love Triangle Ever

message 393: by Alyce (new)

Alyce Hunt (alliesaur) | 1 comments Unpopular opinion but The Fault In Our Stars... It just seems like the most pointless drivel John Green has ever released, it's terribly crafted and people say it makes me heartless but my god I didn't feel for the characters even the most minuscule amount.

message 394: by E (new)

E | 40 comments 'House of Night', it was one of the worst books I've ever read.

I just finished The Raven Boys, and I have to say it took me a long time to get into it. I got bored in the first 150-200 pages, but after that I absolutely loved it, because the action picked up and things actually started happening.
