FALLEN- seems like some people love and hate this book, for me it was just boring....I mean I guess it has potential
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS- I ended up reading the 1st,2nd,and halfway through the third before I realized how dragged on the plot is....I mean what's the deal with clary and jace!!!!!!!!!

Paranormalcy- I thought a lot of the characters were annoying and the book was nothing like I thought it would be.
Hate list- I hated how contradictory it was and I didn't think the characters behaved in a realistic manner
Daughter of smoke and bone- it was alright I just expected a lot more out of it
The 5th wave- words cannot describe how much I hated this book
Anna dressed in blood- it was not what I was hoping
These were the only ones I was like super disappointed with

The second series .. Or trilogy . The infernal devices .. Also by the same author. I read the first book on a book swap and the second book was a dare .. That I failed to complete :p
That's all I could think of at the moment

I COMPLETELY AGREE. I enjoyed The Fault In Our Stars, and after, I went and picked up Looking For Alaska and Paper Towns, but sadly, they didn't meet my expectations nor were they a captivating read.

@Suzie, I totally agree about Mockingjay and The Selection.

read 3 books. All of the characters were ridiculously stupid and I relatable , did not like the plot at all and the MC must have been one of the dumbest immature MC ever

I had the hardest time getting through the first 3/4 of the book. The only reason I would suggest reading it is that it sets up the second and third books and they are unbelievably good.

Oh, and this one too. I couldn't stand the first 3/4 of it. I didn't mind the ending at all, but the boringness of the majority of it ruined an otherwise spectacular series.

I enjoyed the first four books of HON I think, but after that they got bad. I want to finish it, but I never make time for it and they take me forever the read since I'm not into it.

I took me forever to get through Delirium, I enjoyed the second book a ton better than the first. I totally understand this though.

For Gone, I only made it halfway through the book before getting bored & googling what happens in the rest of the series.
I tried to read Matched 3 time and each time I couldn't bother finishing the book. I had so many friends recommend it but I just never got hooked.
As for Divergent, there was just something I didn't like about it. I just hoped for more action and I wish there was more on the revolt/war (I read it nearly 2 years ago so I can't remember much). I guess I just went into the book with super high expectations and in the end was really disappointed.
hush hush, I read the whole series because I don't like to let thing start but I didn't like, I think the idea was good but the romance, the personalities of the characters didn't convince me.

I might read the second book of Delirium since it seems to be better, but with Delirium, I found myself skipping pages and skimming through paragraphs, looking for key words so I can just get the main idea.
