Wow, there are plenty of series that everyone else like, but I just don't get it!!!!!!!FALLEN- seems like some people love and hate this book, for me it was just boring....I mean I guess it has potential
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS- I ended up reading the 1st,2nd,and halfway through the third before I realized how dragged on the plot is....I mean what's the deal with clary and jace!!!!!!!!!
Vampire academy- I just thought it was kind of boring. I didn't like the plot very muchParanormalcy- I thought a lot of the characters were annoying and the book was nothing like I thought it would be.
Hate list- I hated how contradictory it was and I didn't think the characters behaved in a realistic manner
Daughter of smoke and bone- it was alright I just expected a lot more out of it
The 5th wave- words cannot describe how much I hated this book
Anna dressed in blood- it was not what I was hoping
These were the only ones I was like super disappointed with
The first thing I thought when I read the title was "The mortal instruments " this series was really bad .. Or at least I thought as much. My problem was mainly with the style of writing ... I only read the first three books then I was like ... THAT'S IT !!The second series .. Or trilogy . The infernal devices .. Also by the same author. I read the first book on a book swap and the second book was a dare .. That I failed to complete :p
That's all I could think of at the moment
I really wasn't thrilled with Looking For Alaska and Paper Towns by John Green. They were both well written, however the plots in both stories weren't captivating, and neither progressed to a more intriguing point. I also thought that the characters Alaska and Margo had very similar personalities. This could actually appeal to some readers, but for me it was just too much of the same thing.

I enjoyed The Fault In Our Stars, and after, I went and picked up Looking For Alaska and Paper Towns, but sadly, they didn't meet my expectations nor were they a captivating read.
All of John Green's books, The Hunger Games, Legend, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, The Maze Runner and probably The Summer I Turned Pretty
John Green isn't one of my fav authors out there, like there's nthg special about him. The perks of being a wallflower wasn't that good either. Also The Hunger Games.
the odessey i mean. His poor wife is waiting at home fighting off suitors because she loves her husband, his son is missing the father her barely knew, and what is Odysseus doing: sleeping with every girl he meets. i mean, can u talk about rude.
Please don't kill me but I was disappointed halfway through Catching Fire and I didn't like Mockingjay! Also I really didn't like The Selection!
@Suzie, I totally agree about Mockingjay and The Selection.
I must say I absolutely hated The Morganville Vampire Series, have no idea how I managed toread 3 books. All of the characters were ridiculously stupid and I relatable , did not like the plot at all and the MC must have been one of the dumbest immature MC ever
Twilight! I mentally tortured myself to finish all 4 books. I feel like I was eating a bland oatmeal. I chew a bit, spit out and eat a sponeful of my own vomit again.
I had the hardest time getting through the first 3/4 of the book. The only reason I would suggest reading it is that it sets up the second and third books and they are unbelievably good.
Oh, and this one too. I couldn't stand the first 3/4 of it. I didn't mind the ending at all, but the boringness of the majority of it ruined an otherwise spectacular series.
The House of Night Series and Beautiful Creatures series, I cant bring myself to finish either, i just dont find them as interesting as other people do
Heather wrote: "The House of Night Series and Beautiful Creatures series, I cant bring myself to finish either, i just dont find them as interesting as other people do"I enjoyed the first four books of HON I think, but after that they got bad. I want to finish it, but I never make time for it and they take me forever the read since I'm not into it.
Looking For Alaska. Hands down. I don't understand why everyone loved this book so much. Don't get me wrong, John Green is great! I just could not stand any of the characters..
Himuro wrote: "Delirium, Matched, and Fifty Shades of Grey."I took me forever to get through Delirium, I enjoyed the second book a ton better than the first. I totally understand this though.
Gone, Matched & DivergentFor Gone, I only made it halfway through the book before getting bored & googling what happens in the rest of the series.
I tried to read Matched 3 time and each time I couldn't bother finishing the book. I had so many friends recommend it but I just never got hooked.
As for Divergent, there was just something I didn't like about it. I just hoped for more action and I wish there was more on the revolt/war (I read it nearly 2 years ago so I can't remember much). I guess I just went into the book with super high expectations and in the end was really disappointed.
hush hush, I read the whole series because I don't like to let thing start but I didn't like, I think the idea was good but the romance, the personalities of the characters didn't convince me.
Pretty much every john green book but tfios. They all hve the same plot and the same characters. If you've read one, you've read them all.
The hunger games, ugh i just don't like the books, i really don't know why i read the first one but i never liked it..

I might read the second book of Delirium since it seems to be better, but with Delirium, I found myself skipping pages and skimming through paragraphs, looking for key words so I can just get the main idea.
Matched. I don't even know why I disliked it so much but I just couldn't get into it but idk it's probably bc it was so hyped up
The Maze Runner Trilogy. The 1st book was good but the last two were aweful. I still don't get why it's so popular.

I have to go with beautiful creatures. I thought the film was actually better which in fairness wouldn't be hard.Maze runner was a bit of a struggle at the start but I got into it eventually.
Marked and the entire series save that last few books. I don't know why I read all of them but I did.
