The Maze Runner. I tried reading it twice and couldn't do it either time.
Unpopular opinion but the bridge to teribethia (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was the worst book right next wingfeather saga. I hated wingfeather saga so much and bridge to teribethia
ooh I forgot! To All the Boys I Loved Before. I hated it, and I know a lot of people love it so please don't kill me.
I Fell in Love With HopeI had to DNF. The poor representation and romanticization of mental health and disorders as well as the portrayal of queer characters was atrocious and sickening

wait it was sickening that there were queer characters and mental health and disorders or the way that they were portrayed in the book?
Wicked Lovely. I regret buying the first three books in the series, the plot was simply so dull and predictable and the characters had nearly no depth... I'm a sucker for gorgeous covers 😔
Catcher in the Rye and Catch 22. I still don't get the hype or how it was prescribed reading -_- Honestly.
"Verity" was so disturbing I couldn’t keep it—I sold the book. Half of it was just smut I had to skip, and the story was awful. LIKE WHO gets with a married guy who has two kids and a paralyzed wife? It was disgusting. I’m done with Colleen Hoover.I hated Shatter Me too. It felt super vague and cringe.

Well, I didn't like it much, but don't let me discourage you from trying it. We all have different opinions.

shatter me 👀😬i only read the first one but i was so bored im not gonna read the rest. i mean, does it get better? i feel like if the first book isn’t good then im not gonna finish the series…
also, inheritance games was kinda of anticlimactic. i feel like it should have been exciting but it lowkey js wasn’t lol. there was stuff going on that could have been written to be thrilling but i feel like either i js didn’t get it or it js didn’t happen that way. idk if that even makes sense lol
THE WOMEN!!!! DO NOT READ ITS SO STUPID!!! THE STUPID LOVE DRAMA MAKES ME WANT TO BURN THE BOOK AND THROW UP!!!! DONT READ
I don't know how popular The war of worlds is by H. G. Wells, but I'm still to finish this book. I only have a little bit left of this book, but the author uses the phrase 'to and fro' so many times that it ruined the book for me. Despite this, I did enjoy the concept and story line, it was just that repeated phrase that put me off.
Wretched!!! Still cannot believe I read it all. Was soooo boring. Nothing happened. The book thief couldn’t finish just didn’t like it and ended up getting made into a movie. Couldn’t believe that!
Look throne of glass is close but haven’t read the rest of the series yet so….
If you are reading TOG hang in there! It took me six separate tries to get into that series. Six because it felt so boring. Eventually i promised myself I’d commit because it couldn’t have the reputation it dies if it was dull. Holy crap…. I powered through and all of a sudden it just happened! Omg. Couldn’t put it down. Life changing! You can do it.
hmmm ive got a few.... dont come for me please🥺-twilight (+whole series)
-THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY (burning hate for it)(+whole series)
-The selection (+whole series)
-love boat in tai pei(+whole series)
-a court of thorns and roses (+whole series)
-divergent (+whole series)

@Ella It was sickening the way they were portrayed in the book. It felt like the author had never once met a queer or mentally ill person, and the whole thing was far-fetched stereotypes and absolutely awful, detailed instructions on how to hide a mental illness
I absolutely hated The Inheritance Games. The characters were so flat and unlikable to me, and the ending was just... what?
The housemaid series by Freida McFadden. The plot twist was unexpected yes but it made no sense. The characters have zero depth and are just like pawns to fit in with an unrealistic plot.
I have ALWAYS loved the book better than the movie/show, except for this one. The Summer I turned Pretty was awful. The story was okay, but the writing was repetitive and basic! Just wasn’t for me.
Hello. I have the entire The Summer I Turned Pretty series and I am struggling to finish reading We'll Always Have Summer. It is just not as engaging as other books.

REAL
Ok so for me it was-The inheritence games (I couldn't with the love triangle..)
The TOG series (Im on the 5th book and i think i'm done.)
-It ends with us and it starts with us (I hated how cheesy Lily is Like Lily bloom is a florist like brother)
-Hopeless (i couldnt with the plot its like the characters are one place and they are at the other i couldn't keep track 😭)
-Icebreaker (dont get me wrong i loved the start but at chapter like 10 or 13 is when it started like litterly going down hill. i hated it. AND I OWN THE BOOK.)
-The ACOTAR series. (I couldnt with the development like how do you go from a poor almost homeless human to dating a fae..)
