1984! I had to read it for English and honestly I suffered through it. There were about 20 pages in the middle especially which I think was probably the most boring thing I've ever read.

The Maidens. I won't really call the "twist" or the "big revelation", real. It doesn't add up. AT ALL.
i would rather k*** myself than read another page of 'the secret history' by Donna Tart. it was TERRIBLE.
Sharp objects by Gillian Flynn
Also, Throne of Glass. I HATED Throne of Glass and because if that book won't touch any other Sarah J. Mass books
Hm…The Fault in Our Stars and Heroes of Olympus I DNFed, I loved Percy Jackson but only read like 80 pages of the Son of Neptune it was so slow, and also You’ve Reached Sam, 4 stars but it took so long and it was so boring

I am not sure if it is popular, but there was some hype about itWicked Lovely, i knew the whole story from the first chapter
It was soo boring, i wasted my day with it
Gone Girl, You. Also while I don't hate Taylor Jenkins Reid, I really don't understand all the excitement over her books.
Belladonna by Adalyn Grace: The FMC couldn't decide if solving the murder mystery was her main priority, or becoming a proper lady was. And then, after all her talk about following the etiquette required of young women, she sleeps with someone while unmarried. My bigger issue with that is (semi-spoiler alert next:) that she both hated and feared Death. I didn't see anything change in that dynamic. He just randomly showed up for very brief moments, usually when someone was near death, they rarely had meaningful conversations. Sigma spends most of her life wishing he would go away. We know he was actually protecting her, but there's no other growth to their relationship, AND there's another man in the picture who works with the horses and he is presented as a possible love interest, but the next thing I know is she is spreading her legs for Death. Wait, what? Where did that come from? I saw no signs we were at that point yet. And don't get me started on the ridiculous plot twist with the other guy. That was absurd. Not to mention the rather nauseating fact that immortal Death watched this girl from a baby to, what, 17yrs old, and then had sex with her?! That's very gross. It probably sounds like I'm opposed to sex or even age gaps. I'm not, generally speaking, but a 500ur old fae falling for an 18yr old tough as nails assassin who has a lot of lived and worldly experiences is within my suspension of disbelief, whereas this FMC was overall pretty sheltered and was almost secretly watched from a baby by the guy who sleeps with her when she is 17. That's gross. And the murder mystery part wasn't terribly exciting either. The cast of characters is small so you knew it the bad guy was going to be one of 3 people. Not much of a twist there, and the motives were lackluster. Overall, a terrible story, poorly executed. I was super hyped for this book though, so maybe I'm being extra harsh because it was such a letdown. But I will not be reading anything else by Adalyn Grace.
Next up is Strange the Dreamer. (POTENTIAL SPOILERS) I don't DNF books. Literally never have, until this one. Started off cool, I was into Lazlo's story, although I knew right off the bat where this orphan originated from: hardly a secret since the plot is simplistic. Didn't bother me until we went nowhere with it. I got a little over halfway, which took me two weeks. It's NEVER taken me two weeks to finish a book, even when my life I'd busy. I just had zero desire to pick this up and endure the agonizingly slow story. We're slowly wandering across the land to the city of Weep, we get to Weep and we're slowly trying to figure out how to bring down the citadel floaty thingy where the kids live. The adults are boring, the kids are boring, I tired of hearing how the Muse of Nightmares didn't eat moths but tasted them as they returned to her, the other kids going about their lives being normal kids trapped within a deserted building discovering their sexuality. Just incredibly mundane and dull. Nothing happens in this book that we can't see coming because it takes fooorreeevvverrrr to get there. I did end up skimming very quickly and reading the ending. Totally not worth a read, and I'll probably avoid all Laini Taylor books from here on out too.
Those were the worst books.
Honorable mention goes to the Lady Ash trilogy by Laura Sebastian. The first book is fine, the 2nd was very lame, like the FMC wasn't the protagonist, others around her moved the plot and she just went along. Boring. The final book was forgettable, too. Not the worst, but far from good.
