I finished Turn Coat yesterday! Great as usual. (view spoiler)[It was good to see how the Council Works from the inside, but I thought the ending was pretty sad, poor Harry and Luccio (and Morgan!). (hide spoiler)] I love how the worldbuilding keeps getting more and more complex with each book, and how the characters develop.

What's everyone's favourite book in the series so far?
Mine are Small Favor, Summer Knight and Dead Beat. I can't decide between them!

I've just finished Changes. I'm stunned. I just have no words, there's so much that happens to Harry in this book...

I'm just reading the chapters as my partner does -- I kept telling him funny things from them and he decided he wanted to read them. BIG THING, as he rarely reads. So I told him I'd keep up with him so we can talk about it and I don't risk spoiling things before he gets to them lol

I tend to blurt things out after a while, no matter how hard I try. Good thing it's not a problem in RL - only one friend is serious with reading and we are currently reading different things. And she's a type of person that reads last chapter first. (I could never understand that.) I'm trying to get her to read Dresden and Atticus, but she's still resisting. ☺

I loved it as usual, but I was a little disappointed by the ending. (view spoiler)[It felt a little cliffhanger-ish to me. I would have liked it better if it just ended with Harry taking Uriel's hand or stepping through the door into the great unknown. Also, I was very surprised about the fact that Harry had arranged his own death, though I imagined it was Kincaid the one who did it. (hide spoiler)]

To be honest, I'm also disappointed with ending. Had to repeat last two chapters (I was listening to audio) since I thought I missed/misunderstood something. (view spoiler)[That Harry/Kincaid thing was little too confusing. Didn't Harry already tried to avoid being winter knight by stagging (or treating to commit) his death? Did he really think Mab will fall for it twice?! Ending was cliffhanger-ish but not as much as Changes. ☺ This ending didn't really urge me to get to next book. It actually ruined Dresden-mood for me. I need to take a break before next one. *sigh* (hide spoiler)]
I did love (view spoiler)[Molly's Star Trek. That was so funny and took lot of imagination. I suddenly wanted to watch ST *beam me up Scotty!* (Although I'm more of Picard and later - Kirk was before my time) (hide spoiler)]. :P

I just recently finished listening to Grave Peril on audio and I am definitely hooked on this series now. Three books in and I just love it!

I'm about 2/3 through Proven Guilty right now. I think taking a break from the series for a few months made me fall in love with Harry all over again. The tension with the Carpenter family is so deliciously painful. I can't wait to see how this all resolves.

15% in and I love the introduction of Butters as Harry's side kick for the book. That scene in the morgue with him doing the polka was gold

And what's the go with Murphy and Kincaid?! Great that Harry realised he was feeling a little jealous :)

I finished yesterday. And, to be honest, I didn't quite like it as much as I did for whatever reason. Now I'm eagerly waiting for to be delivered, since this is the book a friend (who got me into Harry Dresden) of me said, that this one has been the turning point for her and that she's curious about my reaction to it... (which absolutely doesn't make me curious about this book at all ;))

Overall reaction to the series so far under the spoiler: (view spoiler)[I liked the first book very much but then the series really tanked for me and I was very close to giving up on it (no matter what my friend said). "Summer Knight" has been the last chance for Harry and he used it well. :)

Other than that I really like Harry and a lot of the other major and minor supporting characters like Murphy, Michael, Bob, Mister and now also Thomas and Marcone.

Due to my friend I'm spoiled for some events because "I won't read this series, I don't care about Spoilers, I read your reviews/reactions" *facepalm* but I'm not sure when they'll happen - which kind of makes it very exciting to read the books. :)
