Mack wrote: "Im a couple of chapters into Crossing to Safety by Wallace Stegnar"A little tip Mack, when you post about a book you can add its link by using the add book/author link above this text box by typing the title into the popup menu and selecting it and add, like this...Crossing to Safety by Wallace Stegner the author will also come up next to the book...just press add.
That way we can all check out your selection ;)

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the book and I actually think Apothecary would have worked better as it explained what Christmas's shop/cafe was about.
Even if I didn't know what it meant I am bright enough to look the word up!

I've been getting my fantasy & sci-fi on lately. Finally I read Treespeaker by Katie W. Stewart (more fantasy than sci-fi really); and at the moment I'm into the Aurora series (finished Darwin & Pegasus) by Amanda BridgemanBoth West Australian authors. All good reads.
I have just started My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises by Fredrik Backman - already been sucked in. What a wonderful little main character!
