Welcome back Phrynne! Hope you had a good holiday. You'll probably run out of steam sometime this afternoon and need a nap with the toddlers.
Thanks for the heads up on mature chick lit. They were (almost) the original chicks and did it all. Look forward to checking out Liz Byrski.

HaHa! I was speaking for myself Marianne but we're all young at heart here so chook lit it is!
I have just finished Frontier Resistance by Leonie Rogers - burnt the midnight oil finishing this one and is a solid 5★s - review to follow. In its place I have picked up Throwaway Girl by Kristine Scarrow which is contemporary YA. Have almost finished Reluctantly Charmed by Ellie O'Neill and just started Tumbledown Manor by Helen Brown
polished this off last night...Really quite enjoyed it. I told myself no kindle books until more physical books are read but I couldn't ignore this one..haha

I have just recieved a copy of
Forbidden Fruit by Ilsa Evans. It is the 3rd in a series of cosy mysteries - very funny! Needless to say I enjoy the series so much that all other current reads have been put down and this one is my priority read now :)When the first one came out I entered a competition to have one of the minor characters named after me - so Sally who is President of the Majic wine and cheese association, appears in all 3 books - yes happily I'm in this one too :)
Can't wait to get to 'my' bit :)
