Welcome back Phrynne! Hope you had a good holiday. You'll probably run out of steam sometime this afternoon and need a nap with the toddlers.

Billie Morton | 18 comments Thanks for the heads up on mature chick lit. They were (almost) the original chicks and did it all. Look forward to checking out Liz Byrski.

Should that be 'hens lit' or 'old chook lit' rather than chick lit then Marianne?

I really enjoyed her Belly Dancing for Beginners a few years back so will be interested to see your review.

LOL I like that idea, but perhaps less of the "old"?
so hens lit or chook lit. OK, I'll use that term in future...

HaHa! I was speaking for myself Marianne but we're all young at heart here so chook lit it is!

Sally906 | 87 comments I have just recieved a copy of Forbidden Fruit (Nell Forrest Mystery #3) by Ilsa Evans Forbidden Fruit by Ilsa Evans. It is the 3rd in a series of cosy mysteries - very funny! Needless to say I enjoy the series so much that all other current reads have been put down and this one is my priority read now :)

When the first one came out I entered a competition to have one of the minor characters named after me - so Sally who is President of the Majic wine and cheese association, appears in all 3 books - yes happily I'm in this one too :)

Can't wait to get to 'my' bit :)
