B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) I've finished Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood

Brilliant portrayal of a woman who will linger with you long after you have finished the book. Attwood's writing, construction and tone is simply perfect. Most Highly Recommended.

I recommend that you read the excellent review by Jean at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Kathryn | 3569 comments I am currently listening to The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim which is really quite funny and I can't wait to see how it ends! And I'm struggling through - sorry - reading The Paris Wife by Paula McLain - it's OK, and parts are good, but overall I'm finding it hard going...

Suz | 4430 comments Just finished reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower and loved it. Here's my review:

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Now onto Liar Bird by Lisa Walker which I have had on my shelf for quite some time so now is the time! Written by Aussie Author Lisa Walker whom I met at her launch a couple of years ago at lovely Lennox Head when I was on holidays. Only a few months to go and I'll be back there, nice thought to hold onto!!

message 10563: by Elaine (new)

Elaine | 22 comments I am reading Five: A Novel which is a really grisly gruesome crime investigation. I am loving it so far and I think I might have found a new interest through it - its centred around geocaching - online treasure hunt which I had never heard of before. I did some googling about it and apparently there is a geocache hidden about 50 yards from where I live, so I am going to try and find it. If it is easy to find I will probably get hooked, but if it is hard and I get my hands dirty it will end up as just another thing that wasnt worth all the fuss!

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9975 comments just finished Raven Girl Raven Girl by Audrey Niffenegger which was not as good as The Night Bookmobile by Audrey Niffenegger (and I managed to buy that for $5 from AllBooks4Less). It was nice but I wouldn't pay full price for it, so I was glad the local library had it.

Amanda Jeffery Brenda wrote: "Valentia wrote: "I'm reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif"

I love all of the Percy Jackson books. I've actually started a reading club at school for some year 5 and 6 students and we are reading The Lightning Thief. Usually a book club would get more girls than boys but when it was announced we were going to read this one lots of boys signed up. Anything to get them reading!

Amanda Jeffery I'm currently reading Allegiance by Wanda Wiltshire. She is Aussie and this is only her second book. Lovely lovely lady and great series. It's nice to read a fantasy series (it's all about faeries) which is actually set in Australia.
