I've finished Alias Grace by Margaret AtwoodBrilliant portrayal of a woman who will linger with you long after you have finished the book. Attwood's writing, construction and tone is simply perfect. Most Highly Recommended.
I recommend that you read the excellent review by Jean at: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Congratulations Suzanne! How fantastic:)
I am reading Five: A Novel which is a really grisly gruesome crime investigation. I am loving it so far and I think I might have found a new interest through it - its centred around geocaching - online treasure hunt which I had never heard of before. I did some googling about it and apparently there is a geocache hidden about 50 yards from where I live, so I am going to try and find it. If it is easy to find I will probably get hooked, but if it is hard and I get my hands dirty it will end up as just another thing that wasnt worth all the fuss!

I recently read and adored The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber. A totally unique book, and one I highly recommend - 5★s.Here is my review:

I love all of the Percy Jackson books. I've actually started a reading club at school for some year 5 and 6 students and we are reading The Lightning Thief. Usually a book club would get more girls than boys but when it was announced we were going to read this one lots of boys signed up. Anything to get them reading!
I'm currently reading Allegiance by Wanda Wiltshire. She is Aussie and this is only her second book. Lovely lovely lady and great series. It's nice to read a fantasy series (it's all about faeries) which is actually set in Australia.
