I am struggling a little at the moment as I can't figure out exactly what is going on, but like The Dinner I am sure it will all come together in the end.

In the name of reading more Aussie authors, I've picked up Rouge by Isabella Modra, a young Australian author.

Great fun so far!

I just finished The Alchemyst by Michael Scott. This was a disappointment actually. It read more like a children's book than YA.

Suz | 4428 comments I know ladies it's all out of control when it comes to tbr lists and reading other reviews. I try to take a day off reading reviews but it doesn't last. I've not been on GR all that long, I wonder how many of you have culled your lists? Mine is up to that stage I'd say ;)

message 10128: by Sally906 (new)

Sally906 | 87 comments My TBR list consists of books and ebooks I physically own. So unless I get rid of the books I can't cull!!!

My wish list has a couple of books - I don't own them but want to :)

Sally906 | 87 comments Tonight I reread for the umpteenth time Five Go Adventuring Again always a joy to read these books. I bought myself a new copy on the weekend to replace a previous copy that fell apart on me - so had a quick read before I shelved it - as you do!

I'm so glad to see another adult who occasionally dips back into the Famous Five, just for fun!

I used to love reading the Famous Five and Secret Seven with my kids when they were at the stage of still reading with Mum.

B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) I've picked up Wolf Hall again; it had been put aside as I caught up on books for my Winter Challenge. Of course, I've probably ruined it; Wolf Hall should be read all in one; not interrupted with other books.

Carolyn | 9840 comments Half way through Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel and enjoying it. It's just as good as Wolf Hall.

I've also just started The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North as my travelling-to-work book on my kindle and that looks like being good too.

B the BookAddict (bthebookaddict) @Carolyn, I'm 2/3 through Wolf Hall and loving it. Thomas Cromwell really comes alive in this novel. The only disappointing thing is that Hilary Mantel provides no Acknowledgements or Bibliography. But I am so glad I have Bring Up the Bodies and Book #3 to look forward to.
