Started reading Fatal Liaison while I was eating my lunch and it is Vicki's fault I was late going back to work! Do you think if I opened it on my computer screen anyone would notice that I was reading instead of working?

Mish | 3601 comments I just finished A Love Like Blood - Pretty intense psychological thriller, but the ending was rather bloody and gruesome that I had to skip a couple of pages to get through it. Very good book though. 4 Stars and full review to come on publication date

I have just finished The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe

I'll do my review tomorrow:)

message 7837: by Vicki (new)

Vicki Tyley (vickityley) | 1732 comments “‘In a few days they’ll call off the surveillance, then they’ll cut back the team working the case. They’ll say the leads have dwindled out, they don’t have the work for all those people any more and they’re needed elsewhere. Soon there’ll be just a couple still on it, but they can’t do much.’ He lowered his gaze. ‘Then it’ll be marked unsolved and filed away.’”

I've just finished Frantic. A 5★ read. Katherine Howell has a new fan. :)

As an aside, when I finished, I read through the Amazon reviews and was surprised to find a less than glowing review from a reviewer whose opinion I usually value. Her beef was she didn't like Sophie, whereas I liked her a lot… even when she wasn't thinking straight. For me, it made her more human. I’m glad I didn't check out the reviews before I read the book.

Next up is a novel that’s been on my to-read list since 2010. The Death Contingency by Nancy Lynn Jarvis

Deb Kingston (aussieideb) | 11 comments I have just finished Lighthouse Bay by Kimberly Freeman for a holiday light read.

I read The end of your life book club at the end of last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have also noted down some of the books to read that were talked about in the book.

I am currently reading Better Than Fiction True travel tales from great fiction writers.
