hello, not much traffic in the threads yesterday. Everyone else must have been out having the Saturday night that I didn't have:P

Haha... ditto. :)

I finished The Pool of Two Moons which is the second in the series of the Witches of Eileanan by Kate Forsyth. She is a good author!

Heads Hollow City, tails Terms & Conditions: A Novel .... TAILS it is!
T&C isn't published until 22/4 - I received my copy with the GR FirstReads, and have slotted it into the Autumn challenge:) You'll be able to let me know what you think!

LOL!! Richard is always amused too;)

I have just finished the ARC of Missing You by Harlan Coben...OMG! I was gasping when I'd finished! One of those books that you have to put down as it's too gripping, but then pick it up immediately cos you HAVE to know what's going to happen! I have to digest before writing my review, but I can't release it yet either!

Have now picked up something completely different to an edge of your seat dystopian - a nice Aussie romance February Or Forever by Juliet Madison

I'm delighted you enjoyed it, not to mention chuffed with your review. Thank you. :D
The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa. It's a love-it-or-hate-it book. It sent shivers down my spine, because it resonated so strongly with things I'd been thinking about lately. It's taken me a couple of months, because you have to keep dipping into it, but it's amazing.

Vicki, I read it in one sitting because I couldn't stop reading till I finished! A definite un-put-down-able book. I'm impressed and you know me, I'm usually a literary fiction person:)

I finished Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie. Very entertaining!

Ooh, I'm so excited that you're reading The Lacuna, Bette! I hope you love it as much as I did. It's a good one if you like books with real historical characters in them. It gave me a totally different view of Trotsky from the one I had before, and Frida Kahlo in this book is now one of my favourite characters of all time :-) The book made me want to google her paintings and also find a good book about the Russian revolution.

Ooh, I'm..."
I studied the Russian Revolution and Trotsky for two years but definitely had to look up Frida Kahlo. Hmmm, I think Georgia O'Keefe will still be my favourite.
I'm thinking this will be a difficult book to review:(

I finished An Imperfect Witch by Debora Geary. I love these witchy little books! To me they are the literary equivalent of a box of chocolates!

I finished
Runner by Patrick Lee yesterday - I read it almost non-stop. It was definitely one of those un-put-down-able books for me! 5★s, more if I could!

Starting The Black Angel by John Connolly. Love these Charlie Parker books - just nicely spooky without scaring me so much I can't read them in bed!

I like the sound of that one, Brenda! Will be interested to hear what you think of it.

Then keeping on with my recent horror/ghost theme reads today I started The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon

Literary Fiction never makes my heart race like your novel did. I loved it and my sister is reading it now:)

Very sad. Would an e reader be easier?
Have just started The Goldfinch which I am getting into already, but its huge so might take me a while.

Very sad. Would an ..."
Yes, it would. I am a paper book kind of person but I might finally have to give in to an e-reader.
Hope you like The Goldfinch; I read it in 4 days; just couldn't put it down. I love Donna Tartt's stuff; read The Goldfinch, The Secret History - a smashingly good novel. I have The Little Friend on my coffee table.

Now, that is where paper books have it all over ebooks -- you can share them. :)

Oh no, that is not good. Does it usually take long to get back under control? I hope not. Take care, Bette.

So sorry to hear Bette:( The latest eReaders are very light too...but do you have one of those book chairs? http://www.bedsonline.com.au/products...
I've heard people who can't hold books, but still want to read the paper ones, say these are really good...
