Hmmm, I wasn't going to take part in this challenge - I've started getting involved in hobbies other than reading of late (one's a re-invigoration of a hobby I thought I'd lost interest in!), and I need to start getting stuck into more chores (I've been procrastinating for long enough)... And unfortunately, no matter how many things you want to do in a given day, there's still only 24 hours available to do them in :-/

However, I've been tempted by seeing everyone's posts about their books, and I sat down to see what I would pick from my TBR list if I was doing it, and...here I am! So I'll see what I can manage in between my hobbies, applying for jobs, and trying to create some order in the chaos of my belongings!!



1. International Women's Day - Australian events 1.3.13 - 30.3.13 - - Read a book about a strong female character either fiction or non-fiction.
Either:
The Limpopo Academy of Private Detection by Alexander McCall Smith, or

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke - I'm not convinced I'll like this (might be too sci-fi for my tastes, but am going to try), so I have a backup:

Read a book that YOU would associate with Easter:
90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death & Life by Don Piper - Easter means the death and resurrection of Jesus to life, for me, and this book is the author's account of 1.5 hours he spent in heaven, having been declared dead.


9. Anzac Day - 25.4.13 - Read a book depicting the ANZACs or anything connected to war where our Australian and/or New Zealand troops took part.
The War Diaries Of Weary Dunlop by E.E. Dunlop

10. Mothers Day - 12.5.13 - Read a book depicting mothers/grandmothers and family; with a special connection to Mothers/Grandmothers:)
