Hey, thanks for the pre-emptive strike welcome, every one! I guess I have some catch-up to do on the "be polite, now, and introduce yourself, boy" front, so here goes...Glad to join in, thriller/mystery lovers, and thanks to Sean for throwing some hospitality my way with his kind invite. I am a big time (or is it long time? Hmm) thriller/mystery lover and reader. Over the past decade (yes, I'm "mature") I've also written mystery-thriller-suspense stories with a strong (or so I've convinced myself) character-driven component. This year (starting in April), I started publishing the ones that said "I'm ready" as eBooks.
I look forward to chatting with you about all the great stories out there we can share and enjoy together. In my "off" time ;-) I'll continue to work on my two book series: Our Cyber World and Tracking Jane .

Story-telling that captures the heart
Franky wrote: "Thanks for the welcomes. I teach English."I'm currently studying English lit at college. It's the current bane of my life. I'm sure I'll eventually get over my aversion to the subject, but the amount of work I've been set is ridiculous. But then again, maybe as a teenaged college student I'm just lazy and complaining about one's work is a pastime.
Hi Everyone,I'm James P. Sumner, the author of the Adrian Hell thriller series. I'm looking to connect with fans of my genre and hopefully find a few new fans of my own.
My new website is up and running, www.jamespsumner.com, with links to my mailing list, blog and books.
Would love to get in touch with people who enjoy reading the kind of things I write :-)
Take care,
JPS
Hello all! I'm Lisa from Connecticut. I stay home with my kids: Maxwell, 9, Maria 7, and Nathan 2. I do my best to squeeze a book in whenever and wherever I can, and I usually forgo sleep so I can read. Discovering audio books a few years ago has changed my life! Now I listen while I do all my chores. But there's nothing like curling up and reading for hours under a blanket! I can't wait to chat thrillers with you all. Thanks again, Christine, for inviting me to this group. It looks fab! :D
When Nathan hits school age you'll have more time...maybe. On the down side you look around one day and they're grown, LOL.Welcome.
My kids are grown. My daughter still lives with me (since her mom died I think she may be afraid to leave the old man alone, LOL). On the other hand I see my son only once or twice a year.
My mother always used to say this: "Your son is your son until he gets a wife, but your daughter is your daughter for the rest of your life". I always thought is was sweet until I had my son! Then I didn't like it so much anymore! LOL! :)
I think my son was my wife's favorite a bit and my daughter and I have always been close. You mean never to favor one but when the kids wanted something they'd send our son to ask mom or our daughter to ask me, LOL.
I have been neglecting this dicussion line. Welcome Lisa and all others who I may have missed. Glad to have more people.
Hi and welcome Franky, Eduardo, James and Lisa. I hope you all enjoy being part of this wonderful group.
Hi all, My name is BIFF PRICE I'm the author of The Revolutionists, an entertaining, yet thought-provoking political thriller set against the backdrop of today’s headlines. The Revolutionists portrays a chilling glimpse into the possible future of America. An English teacher, newspaper columnist, and editor, I craft memorable story lines laced with my signature ironic wit in this, my debut novel. It has outrageous characters you’ll want to follow—even to a darkly comical end. Here is a link to the free download Tell me what you think http://amzn.to/1uFsVdo The Revolutionists
Welcome Biff :) I will also check your book out.
Hi, I'm Bec, love a good mystery and don't know how I missed this group. It came to my attention via a post by Sean saying he lives in Jersey, I worked at St. helier hospital for a few years back in the ' 90s.I live in Tasmania now
