I grew up in Southern California, married and moved to Northern California, to Dallas, Texas, and then back to Northern California. I now live and write in San Francisco. I also love to read mysteries and thrillers and am looking forward exchanging with this group!
Hello, I'm Kirsten. I'm in my 40s and am a former secretary, now disabled. I live with my mom and my senior dog (15!). I love all kinds of books and am on a first name basis with my local librarian. Some of my favorite authors: Clive Cussler, J.D. Robb, James Church, Lee Child, Ben Bova, etc.
I have a weakness for historical fiction, dystopias, paranormal romance, space opera, medical thrillers, political intrigue/thrillers, etc.
I am very pleased to see that I share many interests and hobbies with fellow forum members. In addition to reading suspense/thriller novels, I am a movie buff, photographer, snow skier, and boating enthusiast. COLD SHADOWS is my first novel, and I'm currently writing my second book, DARK DOWN.I live in Cary, N. Carolina, with my wife and youngest son. My oldest son is a sophomore at Ole Miss and quite active in Sigma Chi. I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow readers and authors @ Goodreads.
Cheers to all!
Welcome Jeff

Whoa Laurie......Hope you are safe and sound. I have been watching the news on CNN and saw that SF had a good size rolling earthquake. Hope you and yours are SAFE!!!!!
Welcome to the new members. I feel like we are a big family that doesn't believe in birth control. Ha ha, love it!
Hi everyone, my name is Doug and I live in Katy, TX. Thanks for the invitation to join A Great Thriller. I have never been much a reader. I had a sci-fi period when I got into the Battletech universe many years back but only recently got into thrillers.I started with Brad Thor. I read all of his books in hardcovers (didn't finish one) and had him sign all of them in the course of a few years. He comes to Murder by the Book in Houston every year.
Now that I'm pretty much caught up with Mr. Thor's entire catalog I've moved on to Kindle books from Ben Coes, Brad Taylor, the late Vince Flynn, and a few others. I love the action, the intensity, the suspense and the realism these authors bring to their writing.
I know there are many more authors out there and I'll be interested to see what group members are reading and have read.
Hi everyone,
I'm Jennifer from Oregon, and have been reading mysteries for as long as I can remember. I enjoy the classics like Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers, but also like modern British authors like M.C. Beaton. This seems to be a fun group with nice people, and I'm looking forward to joining the discussions.

Hi I'm Artemis. I can't remember if I've introduced myself. Anyways: mods. This is my senior year and I can't be active this year, as I do need to focus. Is it alright with you if I'm active when I can or weekly?
I'm a Swedish-bred tale teller now living in sunny California since my early twenties. I've always dreamed about being a rock star and make it onto the Hollywood scene, written many rock and pop songs. Out of the blue I got hit by the big love train and ended up marrying an oil operator and I'm now happily married and dot around the house with our daughter and two cats. Surviving on vanilla flavored coffee when the days seem too long I have made it very clear that baby nap-time is mommy's writing and reading time.
My first book, “Beast of Venery”, was published on Amazon Kindle and mixes my favorite genres: steamy romance and criminal suspense.
I'm bilingual using English as my second language, but get's the grammar and slight text editing done by a nice oil operator I know.
