Hi, I’m Lori from London Ontario in Canada – in between Toronto and Detroit, MI in the US. I am an author (mystery series featuring a Toronto female PI) but I’m also an avid reader and have been reviewing Indie mystery-thriller authors over the summer. It’s been interesting. I’ve stumbled across a couple of good books. Looking forward to reading the posts and getting to know you all.

Hello to everyone! My name is Alyssa and I am from the Philippines. Currently, I am working as a freelancer at oDesk and my usual clients are from the US so I am mostly up at night in front of my PC. During the day I would like to invest my time in reading. If not, I am most likely to be found manning my mother's small "sari-sari" store.
Hi, everyone! My name is Jocelyn and I'm from Malaysia. Thrillers are not something that I usually read but am hoping to read more of. The only thriller I've read is Ring by Koji Suzuki and it was awesome! I hope that I will get some recommendations for thrillers by joining this group!
Welcome to all new members. You have come to the right place for good reads, good discussions and good people.
My name is Rhonda. I live in Colorado and am retired. I now to get read almost as much as I like. Favorite authors Rhys Bowen, Victoria Thompson, Peter Robinson, Linwood Barclay, Harlan Coben and many more
Welcome Rhonda and thank you! Other retired people have said they have no more time to read now than they did when they were working. So now I can look forward to retirement again!
Welcome Rhonda. This is a very great group of people, and always recommendations for new books to read, and new authors to explore. Make yourself at home and join in.
Hi Im Mary Catherine AKA myrtle. Lifelong resident of Pittsburgh. Favorite authors include Harlan Coben, Linwood Barclay, et al.
Hi and welcome Rhonda and Mary Catherine. I just read my first Linwood Barclay book, No Time For Goodbye and I liked it alot. I have Too Close To Home up next.
Hi, Dawn: You probably would like to know that Linwood Barclay came out with a sequel for No Time for Goodbye recently. I believe it is called No Safe House which I just bought. All I need to do is find by copy of No Time for Goodbye to reread
I still think No Time For Goodbye is his best book.

Love mystery/thrillers. Twilight series was awesome. Also used to read a lot of Dean Koontz. Mortal Instrument series was also good
I've been a GR lurker for a long time, and a member of this group for quite a while, so it's about time, right? My husband and I are retired and live in a little rural hamlet between Syracuse and Utica, New York. We have two sons who are successfully out in the world, and two grandsons who live too far away. I have two elderly cats, brother and sister. If I'm not outside walking and watching birds, I'm home reading. Some favorite authors are Lee Child, John Sandford, Louise Penny, Lisa Gardner, Karin Slaughter, Michael Connelly, Harlan Coben. I've recently added S. J. Bolton and Chelsea Cain to that list. Thanks to you kind folks for helping me expand my reading repertoire!
Welcome Brenda. This is a great bunch of people, and my to-reading-list is getting longer and longer. Love to read like you. I live in Toronto, with my husband and our 2 Lab brothers(our children).Enjoy your Saturday!
