i am enjoying this book club very much, wondering how i am going to read all these brilliant books. ged
Thank you all for the welcome! I look forward to being a productive member of this group.Regards to all,

Mine too, Mike, I love the first person POV. To me it helps with mystery/suspense in a story if there are twists, as well as getting to know the main character better. I do know they are less popular on the publisher radar unless reserved for special genres though (some UF and YA comes to mind)Welcome all new members :)
Hi Good Thriller Readers!I'm Leif Sterling and I'm Sci-Fi Thriller author and reader.
Obviously everyone in the group here must have marvelous taste to be reading and discussing thrillers! (Although, I may be slightly biased towards the genre...) ;-)
I wanted to join the discussion here.
Looking forward to talking with y'all!
~Leif Sterling~
Welcome David and Leif.By the way, I have read David Rheem Jarrett's book Last Straw. I would definately recommend it. I posted a review on Amazon.

That's right Dawn. I made sure I got one trained, as the last one did nothing!
Hi everyone, I am a fairly new member and haven't taken the time to introduce myself until now. My name is Carmen and my husband and I are in the empty nest stage of our lives and we are enjoying it. We have one adult daughter and no pets. I work part time and live in a cosy small town where I feel very safe to walk the streets at night! I love to read and hopefully will have time to be apart of this group. I have read all of Lee Child's Reacher series and have to say Reacher is one of my favorite fictional chareacters, right up there with Baldacci's Puller and Robie characters. Favorite book series is The Camel Club by Baldacci and really enjoy Maxwell and King too!. I enjoy mysteries and thrillers but must admit to a bit of a queasy stomach and a vivid imagination so I tend to stay away from the real graphic and gory stories, as I do a lot of my reading at bedtime! I will read some classics and will take a break from intense thrillers for a cosy mystery book like Laura Childs' Tea Shop mysteries. Oh yes, I live in Manitoba, Canada, and yes we have lots of mosquitoes and lots of snow but its where I fell in love and where I gave birth to my one and only child so this province holds my heart. But I do enjoy escaping part of our winters for a holiday down south! Love Charleston SC and Louisianna, so if there are any members from those parts, hey y'all! Your southern hospitality is like none other!
wow not on since last night and LOTS of new people! Welcome everybody! We are a fun and friendly family! And you will never lack for suggestions of books or authors!
Hi fellow book fans! I'm Kim, I'm from Peterborough in the UK! Pretty much love any book, up for trying anything! My favourite Author have to be The likes of Karin Slaughter, Tess Gerittsen, Michael Robotham, Camilla Lackberg, Jo Nesbo. I also enjoy books by JoJo Moyes, Rosanna Ley just too many to add!
Welcome Carmen, thanks for joining.
Kimberley, my friend, thanks for joining and welcome.
Carmen, read all Reacher books, and enjoy John Puller and Will Robie, all favourites in this group alongside Joe Pike(robert Crais books) and Gabriel Allon(Daniel Silva)

Hello to all here. I am Mukund here from IndiaWould like to get some valuable inputs on thriller book and would be grateful to contribute some to the group.
Hi All,I am a mystery author living in Portland, Oregon USA. While my reading tastes vary widely, I particularly enjoy a good mystery, thriller, or suspense novel. I also enjoy gardening, long walks, great food, and lost causes.
Currently on my night stand: The Fatal Gift of Beauty by Nina Burleigh, a New York Times journalist's take on the Amanda Knox trials in Prugia, Italy.
I am a former journalist, and wrote two nonfiction books before embarking on a mystery writing career. My novels, both set in Oregon, are An Unholy Alliance set in Oregon wine country, and The Difficult Sister, set on the southern Oregon coast.
I look forward to interacting with all of you. You can learn more about me and my novels at http://www.judynedry.com
Wow! I just discovered this group, and was amazed by how fast it has grown since Jan. 2013.I'm James M. Corkill, originally from Perri's town of Eastsound Washington, USA. I now live in the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina.
I'm a retired Federal Firefighter, now author.
I'm a big fan of Clive Cussler's original Dirk Pitt novels, Tom Clancy, and lately, James Rollins. I suppose it's the reason I write along a similar genre.
I've really enjoyed reading about all of you, which I started from you're first post, Sean. What a nice group of people. I'm glad I discovered this group. Just to avoid confusion, call me James M. It's nice to meet all of you.
Whoa! Haven't checked this thread for awhile; lots of new members! This really IS such a nice group. Hello and welcome!
Hi James I grew up on the other side of the Smokies from where you live now (Eastern TN). It's still one of my favorite places in the world I guess. Glad to have you here.
