Hello,My name is Tasha. I'm from the bay area, california. I love reading mystery/thriller/suspense novels, which is why I'm checking this out.
I haven't really been able to get into any books lately, I'm hoping to change that. The last ones I read that I really enjoyed were the Gillian Flynn books, Gone Girl, Sharp Objects and Dark Places. Can't wait to see the movie adaptations of them.
Hello Tasha! One of my daughter's is called Natasha, so great name!!
I've read Gone Girl, left me a bit cold, Sharp Objects, I really liked. Haven't read Dark Places, as yet.

@ Sean - You just lost the reserved spot on Noah's Ark. You will now be going to hafta do "tryouts".
Hi all, I love any thriller. I've read just about everyone listed above. Always have loved Florida crime thrillers which is what I also write.

Hi Clare, I saw in your "like" list that you like Tess Gerritsen. Based on that, I bet you would like SJ Bolton. Those 2 are way up on my fav author list.
Minnesota Chris

Love Tasha's name........I've never met a real Tasha.........(makes me want to pronounce it with a devilish twist.)
Welcome all.
Hi everyone. I'm Rewan. Several times I've tried to enforce the rule that I'm not allowed to buy more books until I have read the ones I already have. That didn't go so well.Maybe I'll try that again. *Sees book sale. Goes bankrupt*.

I don't think this would be humanly possible...
DoodlePanda wrote: I don't think this would be humanly possible... There's always something that gets in the way. One time, the local library was selling hardback books for 50 pence each, and it doesn't help that a bookshop in my local town has 3 paperbacks for £5.
From a financial point of view, it made sense to buy them all...

Makes perfect sense. You will have saved so much money! And gained books!

:D
I at one time hoped God would allow me to live long enough to read all the books I have... I realized that might not be a fair request as I keep adding to them.
DianeAlice wrote: "I second that Mike! If only I could stop one-clicking on Amazon but it's a disease for which there's no cure..."I've got the same thing... But some part of me doesn't want a cure... It just feels too good...
Alas good people, I too am suffering from the one click affliction. I have over 200 books to read and the number keeps climbing almost everyday. I need to buy time, where can I find and then purchase this precious treasure?!!
Greetings and salutations! How did I miss finding this group before? I'm a thriller addict...read 'em constantly, review some, and also write them (oh no! another author! *s*) My book case (and Kindle) overflow with great books. In my other life I'm a certified animal behavior consultant, author of 2-dozen nonfiction pet care books and write "dog viewpoint thrillers" with animal behaviorist September Day (now writing the 3rd in the series).
is the first and
is the second.I'm a member of International Thriller Writers and was a Debut Author there with my first thriller where I get to be a fan-girl. After helping judge the recent Thriller Awards I got to read about 60 new thrillers...heaven!
I live in N Texas surrounded by 500+ rose bushes, and share my life with a 17-year-old Siamese wannabe, smart aleck GSD and delinquent kitten. I blog about pets and writing at my Bling, Bitches & Blood Blog and ...among other things...am the Puppy Expert at About.com.
That's entirely too much about me, sorry. But I do look forward to getting to know everyone.
Hi Amy welcome.So...why do cats suddenly look up with wide eyes, ears laid back and charge of to random locations being sure to cross atop the highest furnishings along the way also managing to run vertically along walls?
LOL! You mean "the zoomies?" Many pet cats don't get to burn up all that energy they conserve while sleeping 16+ hours a day, so when their human (aka "slave") comes home, it's a great time to bounce off the walls.And...typically, the human rewards the behavior in some way, with cuddles, food, attention, etc. Cats are very adept at training humans. Ahem.
