Dipanjan | 314 comments @ DoodlePanda - Dips is "young and innocent". So almost everything scares him. Like a lamb!!

@ Ter'e - I know where to get it. But haven't gone there yet. Trying to delay the onslaught on my bank account just a few days longer. You do know that I buy by the shelf, right?

message 758: by DoodlePanda (new)

DoodlePanda Dips are you talking about yourself in 3rd person? Lol!

message 759: by Dipanjan (new)

Dipanjan | 314 comments @ DoodlePanda - No, it was his alter ego.

Same question Mike, what do you mean by ABE books?

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments http://www.abebooks.com/

This is a link to the sight. They bring together a lot of stores and you can go to the sight and search. It brings up copies of the title from all over.

Thanks, Mike. Kind of you. Will have a hunt around, see what gems I can find.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 652 comments If I need to buy a "print book" it's the first place I go now.

Understandable. I try to go where the best deal is. Sometimes it's books, sometimes kindle, and Netgalley has been brilliant for me. I follow a lot of good authors on Twitter and vice versa. So it keeps me in touch with what's happening in the crime world, and sometimes get access to works before publication. Nice to interact with those behind the words.

Sheila Gilliam | 2 comments Hi Everyone. I'm Sheila and I live in Colorado. I have a daughter, Lindsay who just turned 18 and I'm a single parent. I work as an Office Manager for a small local company. I have read a lot of thrillers and of course do have my favorite authors. I'm relatively new to GoodReads and I'm happy to have found a group where I can share my love of books.

message 781: by Steve (new)

Steve Robinson (steverobinson) | 3 comments Hi Everyone! I received an invite from a member (John Brown) who said you were looking for more authors to join. Looks like a great group and mystery/thrillers are definitely my thing. I often get stuck on choosing which book to read next, so I'm hoping you can help me out there. As I'm writing all the time, I tend to read/listen to audiobooks more and more these days.

I'm a British writer, living just outside London. I write the Jefferson Tayte Genealogical Mysteries - mystery thrillers, which often include a historical element.

I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone.

Hi Lynsey. Welcome to the group. I noticed you listed Steven Dunne and Jeffery Deaver. I just purchased all the novels by Steven Dunne from "The Reaper" to "The Unquiet Grave". Can't wait to read them. I also love Jeffery Deaver.
