Welcome Tea Time, Terri (the saner one), Marce .... have a blast here. @ Ter'e - You SPAT? No wonder its drizzling in Venice. Still on "Mode: Absconding"
@ DoodlePanda - I have been doodling all nigh last night. It did save my innocence. Thank you!
P.S - My ego is bloating up to mammoth size right about now. (Ref: earlier posts)
You're not wrong, Mike. Goes off on a different tangent within seconds!!
I will Google the Bollywood awards, I'm a British born Indian (if anyone hasn't guessed). Probably some filmi thing again, they do umpteen a year!

@ Janet - Google IIFA Awards 2014. Yeah, its yet another money spinner, for sure. I am up for dinner, anyone hungry?
@ Sean - Without women, earth will fade and die. Without women, who am I? (P.S - I am still young, I am still innocent). Sean I love ya toooooo. Our bro code is safe.
Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - Incidentally, I rarely Doodled before I met you. (Innocent as a lamb)"Did you mean sheep? As in black sheep? ;)
And I'm honored! I think...
@ DoodlePanda - No no ... the snow white ones. With innocent eyes. (P.S - the idea WAS to honor ya).
Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - No no ... the snow white ones. With innocent eyes. (P.S - the idea WAS to honor ya)."I'm definitely honored then :D
I would like to think of you as innocent but it's just not working for me...
Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - try doodling and your thinking will start working. Trust me."I think my thinking is a lost cause at this point... I think my brain has reached its 'best before' date... :(
I've heard that doodling also helps people out that have arthritis to soothe the pain and focus on something else other than the pain. Actor Robert Englund doodles too with his autographs.
@ Amber- True. yesterday I was in traumatic state when I started doodling. I was on the phone with a particular friend. I started doodling and zoned out!!!!
@ DoodlePanda - try try. Specially when someone is having a serious conversation trying to get your attention.
Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - try try. Specially when someone is having a serious conversation trying to get your attention."Like... tonight at work? :D
@ DoodlePanda - Ideal timing would be when your boss is trying to explain something that needs to get done.
Dipanjan wrote: "@ DoodlePanda - Ideal timing would be when your boss is trying to explain something that needs to get done."Lol!
Well the boss wont be there tonight, just me :)
All alone... O.o
My first night shift there too, so I'm slightly anxious...
@ DoodlePanda - Well I can give ya some awesome ideas as to what you can do to leave an impression. But you should not have too much fun on the first day at work. LOL.
Hi, I've always enjoyed Goodreads. I was very involved, but over the past several months I kind of fell off in my comments and reviews. I hope to get back into the groove. I continue to be an avid reader of crime thrillers.I don't watch television and don't go to movies, so reading is my entertainment. I am always interested in good writers and I definitely get into series.
My post didn't post. I am an avid reader of thrillers. I live in Memphis. I love Goodreads.I thank Sean for inviting me to this group. I once posted very frequently and tried to give thorough reviews of books. I got so busy I let it all go, but will try to get back into it. I don't watch TV or movies so reading is my source of entertainment. I recently read Michael Gruber's books-- excellent. And now I am into John Connelly... another great thriller writer. I enjoy series with continuing characters.
Look at this. The Mighty Traveler did miss us!!!!!Big welcome to Tim!!!!!! I hope and pray you will be safe here!!!!! Sometimes, we have way too much fun.

@ Christine, I have heard SJ Bolton is amazing, she is on my list to read this year.
Have any of you read and watched Silence of the Lambs? I enjoyed both but the movie is an all time favourite.

Another great author.

I ran to Amazon and ordered The Shepherd. Those books look so awesome!!!!
Lucky Ter'e will not get to meet him. But once I move to MO......I will track him down when he comes to visit family he has there.
Welcome Tim,Hi Rita, glad to see you here also.
Yaaaaay Ter'e, you downloaded the Shepherd, love the immediate buy.
Tea Time wrote: "Do you think I should start with Now You See Me or which one is your recommendation?"Hey Marce, for sure start with Now You See Me! My absolute favorite book this year and first in the Lacey Flint series. The rest are stand alones (my iPad tried to switch that to sit alones--grrrrrr!).
