Its always nice to have an eclectic range of music. Something for every mood 😊

I love almost all genres but looking at my overflowing book shelves would tell you the thrillers are my favorite. I don't care for romance unless it's suspenseful. My all time favorite..."
Hi Rita, welcome aboard! I'm with you - romances as long as they have a bit of mystery and suspense in them. :)

The stand out book of the year for me has been Good Me Bad Me by Ali Land. Also these books were fantastic - The Twilight Wife - A J Banner and He Said She Said by Erin Kelly and all things Chevy Stevens - Never Let me Go.
I've never joined a book group before. Looking forward to being involved and getting some hot tips.

Rebecca, I don't remember if I gave you your "Welcome to the Family" URL. if I didn't, here it is: Iron Maiden - Run to the Hills - Lyrics - HD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysGdh... If I did, consider it a bonus, please.

I do love AC/DC but then, my metal drifts off to Zeppelin.....anyway, thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for joining Rick, and enjoying my review, on one of my favourite books read, this year.
Can recommend many great authors very much the same !
Many great author members here as well

Thank you, just looking for a place to hang out and talk rubbish about books, the rest of the family arent much readers :)

we love books, I also enjoy true crime, love my four cats.
Enjoy the group"
Thank you ! :)

Neither do I! My eldest daughter is a bookworm like me but unfotunately no longer lives at home :(

Hahaha, that was awesome Amber, thank you for the lovely welcome! :) x

I watched that. Pretty talented musicians. There is two brothers or cousins out there that are on youtube and they play the cello. They are called 2cellos (duh). They play AC/DC, GNR, Zep and others. Entertaining to listen as well as watch.

I'm SA Stovall and I live in California! I used to work as an attorney, but now I'm a professor and author. I love writing in many genres, including fantasy, science fiction, and contemporary thrillers (mostly underworld and crime).
I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone!

S.A., your "Welcome to the Family" URL is The Indiana Jones Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pNlM...
Gail, your "Welcome to the Family" URL is He-Man: Opening Theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yeA7...

Please do enjoy the group"
Thank you, Sean! You guys all seem great so far! My welcome theme is apparently Indiana Jones! xD

One of the shortest on my list is Sylvester saying "Sufferin' Succotash!"

Bayou La Batre, the small town near Mobile, Alabama where Forrest Gump caught all those shrimp and became rich. I love my hometown and my childhood friends but I have lived most of my life in other countries. First, I was with the Army, then later, teaching English. I love books. My mom was a librarian and I grew up surrounded by books. I'm new to Goodreads and this group. I am an author also and I have four books published on Amazon. One of them is a thriller in the tradition of Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy. It features a strong, woman protagonist who is from China. I would love to feature it here in the group for discussion. Who do I talk to in order to make that happen? I'm not trying to push my sales, in fact, anyone can get it for free May 27th through May 31st from Amazon. What I want is real feedback from readers who love thrillers. That is why I would like to discuss it here. If anyone has any ideas on how to set up a discussion group for THE CHINA FORMULA by Ray Simmons send me a message. Thanks
Hello Ray,,
welcome to the group.
It is myself that you talk to !
We enjoyed thrillers, and will consider books to read, as long as you make them free for a read a long, and you answer questions.
Also we asked that you join in with the many posts and become part of the group first.
This let's the members get to know you and want to read your books.
I receive many requests by member authors to do a read a long.
Who have never posted in any threads. We are happy to support authors if they support the group, not do a read then disappear.
Many members, like myself are committed to many books, I alone have 48 books from authors and 63 books on net galley, so you could say I am about 2 years behind !
I hope you understand, regards
I am sure many will download your book and will give honest reviews. We have authors section to promote your free book for those dates.
And we can look at your book for a read a long later in the year

My books will be free for the next five days. Download them and enjoy. Reviews would be appreciated but questions and discussion is just as important for me. Thanks!
