Angela!! Fancy seeing you here!! If Sean hadn't gotten to you first I would have been banging your door down on Twitter!! So glad you're doing a Q&A for us. Your books are well loved here. There will be questions aplenty!! :)
Hi,

Hello Everyone! Thank you for having me in this group, it seems really a good community. I am a children's books editor with a passion for thrillers, as well as for so many other genres I couldn't sum up.
Among the action thriller books, I think Lee Child is some kind of god. I also appreciate Patricia Cornwell and the Karin Slaughter style, while unfortunately I'm not a big fan of Jeffery Deaver: no matter how good one of his story is, every time I find myself tired of his writing and his staging. And I don't love very much when the culprit pops up in a deus-ex-machina way.
Recently I found interesting The Nightwalker, which I read in Italian (but I think it will be available in English soon). A bit claustrophobic, but interesting. Different.
And I highly recommend Out: not a proper action one, but certainly a great one, in my opinion.
I look forward to reading tons of new thrillers, so I will stay tuned for your recommendations.

That was quick !!
Welcome Rokovoko, from Italy.
We love thrillers, and Karin Slaughter has done two Q & A for this group, have a lllok through in the authors section.

Yay! I came here on Goodreads just to join groups like this :).

Oh well, here goes
I am a *cough cough* middle aged woman, and I live in the UK.
I read A LOT, and review A LOT and some of you know me on here. I'm an independent reviewer, reading for Indie/self published authors, I also have a promotion blog where I like to promote authors and share that around the media in cyberland that I am connected to. I also read for Publishing houses, books are always dropping on my front door mat via my letter box! Or widgets for invitations for me to read an ebook. I also belong to Net Galley and have a good ratio. I LOVE reading and when I get a book that I sooooooo love, you can't stop me raving about it :)
I am a care giver for my husband and I am registered disabled myself, so when I do have ME time, guess what I do? yep, read.
Happy to get to know fellow readers, so if you want to befriend me, please do.

Does anyone in the UK/Scotland go to the Bloody Scotland crime fiction festival in Stirling in September? I have gone every year since it started (4 years ago), and I'm very much looking forward to hearing Linwood Barclay speak this year.
I'm always interested in getting more reading suggestions, so I will look forward to participating in this group.

Well from the few posts I've read, this group seems fun and inviting so I decided to join. Can't wait to see what's in store. :)
Hi Karen and welcome to the group
Linwood is a friend, and has done a Q & A for this group, as a favour to me.
Very nice man.

Hi Kat, Josen and Karen. Welcome to the group. Have a peruse and jump in wherever you fancy! It's very friendly and chilled here. :)

Sean, are the Q&As archived somewhere? They sound very interesting.

My name is Mel, I'm from Australia! I'm absolutely obsessed with Sharon Bolton at the moment after being auto recommended the Lacey Flint series (thanks Goodreads!!). I've just started my own blog, a work in progress. www.booksbabiesbeing.com
I love a good thriller, but I pretty much like every genre. Except historical fiction... Never found one I like!
Nice to meet you all!

yo'll get here so many recommendations you won't be able to read all these books and your to-read shelf will soon grow steadily and over more and more :-)
Hi and welcome to Maresa, Ray and Melissa
I hope you enjoy the group
Lots of great recommendations, group reads and top Q & A's coming up shortly.
We love Sharon Bolton, and the first author to do a Q & A for this group

Hi I'm Colin, I live in Tipperary, Ireland.
I like to hike, which is good because we have three great mountain ranges here in Tipperary.
Reading is my stress relief, I'm also a journal writer and film buff.
Writers that I always look out for:
Walley Lamb
Sally Vickers
P D James
Ian Rankin
Ken Follett
To name but a few.

In the Thriller category, I enjoy Stephen Hunter, Robert Crais, and (my latest craze) Jason Matthews.
I look forward to participating, but the sheer size of the group forum is somewhat overwhelming. I may have to pick my spots.
Best,
Scott

Thanks!
Hello and welcome to Colin and Scott.
Great to have another film fan here, lots on films and television.
