My name is Shawn Lealos and I am an author (already submitted a short intro in the author's thread, my only published book is a non-fiction about Stephen King dollar baby filmmakers).

I have been writing as a journalist for 15 years and have finally decided to get back into writing novels again. My first love is Stephen King, but I prefer to write mystery/thriller novels and I have just re-started reading some of my favorite series (John Sandford's Davenport books is a good example) and also discovered new series that I missed (like Lee Child's Jack Reacher series).

I figure a group like this might be invaluable to see what people are reading, what people like and don't like, and to get more recommendations on mystery novels I can read as I prepare to start my first series. Plus, I love to talk about books

Most of our TBR-list are so big we won't be able to read them in our life but we can still dream about :-) and you'll find a discussion about almost every possible topic and if there is something different you would like to discuss just open a new one :-)
