Agnieszka (agnieszka7) | 1462 comments Welcome Kevin,

If you like fast pace and action you should try True Conviction An Adrian Hell Thriller by James P. Sumner by James P. Sumner.
OK Adrian is not really realistic but fun and the book has more action than should be allowed ;-)

Almost forgot, the eBooks are free in most shops an additional bonus - so you can find out if you like it without too many regrets.

Manning Wolfe (manningwolfe) | 1660 comments Hello, I'm Manning Wolfe. I live in Austin, Texas with my fiancé' Bill. I'm an attorney writing legal thrillers. The first, Dollar Signs: Texas Lady Lawyer vs Boots King is due out on February 18. I'm still seeking ARC readers if anyone is interested. My favorite books are Connelly, Grisham, Turow, Gimenez of course, but I also read Pryor, Lippee, Crider, etc. Anything thriller, legal or otherwise will keep me turning the pages. Glad to know you all! Manning

Amber Martingale Hi, Baneen.

You can learn a lot about someone by listening to his or her YouTube playlist, starting with the current video. In my case, that is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFRfz... ( Beethoven - 9th Symphony - 4th movement -)

Shawn Lealos (sslealos) | 18 comments My name is Shawn Lealos and I am an author (already submitted a short intro in the author's thread, my only published book is a non-fiction about Stephen King dollar baby filmmakers).

I have been writing as a journalist for 15 years and have finally decided to get back into writing novels again. My first love is Stephen King, but I prefer to write mystery/thriller novels and I have just re-started reading some of my favorite series (John Sandford's Davenport books is a good example) and also discovered new series that I missed (like Lee Child's Jack Reacher series).

I figure a group like this might be invaluable to see what people are reading, what people like and don't like, and to get more recommendations on mystery novels I can read as I prepare to start my first series. Plus, I love to talk about books

Welcom Shawn,

you don't need to worry about recommendation. Most of our TBR-list are so big we won't be able to read them in our life but we can still dream about :-) and you'll find a discussion about almost every possible topic and if there is something different you would like to discuss just open a new one :-)

message 5891: by Bev (new)

Bev Hi I'm Bev, live in the UK and an avid reader . Reading has slowed down a bit lately due to personal issues and also now with having a family but love to pick up a book and read a few pages whenever I can.

Currently started my own blog www.beveaves.blogspot.com
so pop across and have a look if you fancy.

Love crime, thriller, mystery books along with true stories. Especially like authors along the lines of James Patterson: Lee Child: Jeffery Deaver and been introduced to a few fantastic new authors like Mark Dawson; Kerry Wilkinson; Phil Martin and Peter Dudgeon.
