My name is Daniel,should be Danny cause my dad was saved in WW2 by a US soldier from concentration camp,my dad was on the point of being shot
and the guys named Danny rescued him,thus my name but Danny was not accepted by authorities so I became Daniel or Dan,by the way I was born and live in Luxembourg(battle of the bulge is more known as Luxembourg) in all we have about 450000 inhabitants nearly 40% are not-luxembourgers.At the beginning I was reluctant joining a group but now...it's top
I'm retired but my job brought me many times to the US.I was the groups logistic manager(Villeroy&Boch) the only think about being retired I do miss those trips and my US friends.I have a dog(Irish Terrier,that's fun cause she's a bit nuts)

OK, I'm new here. After being a member of GR like forever, I'm still getting used to it.
I'm an avid reader, average book reviewer, and author, so hi to everyone!
For Sean, I also do unconventional movie reviews at my website, along with book reviews, articles on writing, and op-ed a la Kurt Vonnegut (yeah, I'm an old curmudgeon too, but not dead yet, and young at heart). Oh, and most Fridays I have a newsletter, "News and Notices from the Writing Treches"; it usually has goodies for readers and writers, but a wee bit of self-promotion too.
I'm here mostly to participate in discussions, but I got ticked off with Facebook because everyone gets on a soapbox there (my soapbox is my blog).
